The Aurora Subic Hotel is typically new, opened last yr Aug if I am not mistaken. Hotel had few poor quality food options. Service was bad. Elevators have finger and hand prints. Aircon in the lobby drips. Will not come back. Hotel price is not worth it. The only saving grace is the house keeping head Ms RICA. She compensates for the poor management of the hotel. I must say this hotel should have many Ricas that provildes good service.

This is a new hotel in Subic Freeport Zone. Well-designed, modern, and very clean. Walking distance to Royal Duty Free and Harbor Point Mall. Lots of dining options around it as well. There seems to be a commercial establishment being developed right beside it; in fact it looks it its part of the hotel complex. The room is spacious. The beds are okay, but my finnicky back didn’t seem to agree with the mattress. Yes, there are some minor teething problems. At night our wifi konked out. It took a while before the staff was able to restore internet connection, but they tried their best to resolve it as soon as possible. So goes for the rest of the staff; they were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is served at the ground floor café. Its quite a nice little nook. The breakfast buffet spread is your usual Philippine provincial fare. Quite limited, but at this price you cant really complain. This is value for money, and a very good addition to the Subic Freeport Zone.

What we liked: 1. Brand new hotel so clean, comfy, modern, decent 2. Roof top pool is unique though the bar pool was not yet ready during our stay. Pool towels are provided. No need to bring your room towels 3. Brilliant location (few meters to the beach, the mall, Dewey Avenue (a ***** of bars with live entertainment and restaurants), convenient stores 4. The shower of my room had only boiling hot water. When I complained the house keeping guy only ignored my words and did nothing to improve it. Totally useless house keeping guys 😡 - Really not a 4 star hotel! Also the location is ugly with room facing a construction side

Service was great from the front desk to the Bar and the rest of the staff. The attendant from the rooftop pool was very helpful and was great helping us with dinner at the pool. The bar was amazing and the staff behind the bar provided hospitality at its finest. Going above and beyond making my drinks and providing recommendations where to go around in the local area. Big shouts to Julia and Yancy. Overall the staff here is top tier and I’ll be coming back because of that!

Great location - close to a variety of restaurants and shops. Very spacious and clean room. Swimming pool at the roofdeck with a very nice view. Only issue is the ac which was not able to cool the room enough to my liking. Will stay here again next time and will recommend to my friends and family.

I had a post birthday celebration in Subic with friends, I decided to stay in this hotel surprisingly we had a great stay. All staff are helpful and friendly, the room was clean and amazing. I really like also their swimming pool as you can see the magnificent view of Subic Bay. Really recommended.
