I had a fantastic stay! The house is an old, beautifully maintained property owned by an architect, which really shows in the thoughtful details. The common ground floor area is spacious and inviting, with a large table that’s perfect for gathering or working.
My room was wonderful—south-facing with plenty of windows that let in abundant sunlight. It also featured charming original furniture, adding to the authentic character of the house. Highly recommended!

I liked this B&B at first sight~ It is located in Snail Alley, in the center of Tainan’s old city. The community is very humane; the interior decoration is completely in the style of an old house. The boss was very patient and considerate. He spent almost half an hour telling me about all the delicious places in Tainan, and none of them were too bad.
The only drawback is that the soundproofing is not very good and you will be woken up by the sounds outside. Friends who are used to going to bed early and getting up early will not be affected. People like me who like to stay up late may want to consider it.

The location of the B&B is very good, it is a quiet hideaway in the busy city. Moreover, the host of the B&B is very considerate and has marked a map of Tainan’s food/specialty places for travelers’ reference. (This will be very practical if you are visiting Tainan for the first time!) The old house is very tidy and provides enough supplies. Our itinerary changed on our last day and we needed more time to store our luggage. The host was also willing to help us.
It should be noted that the bathroom of this room type is outside the room. If you need more independent space, you can consider booking another room type. In addition, the sound insulation of the old house is not very good, so you will hear sounds from outside.

There was a Japanese speaking person waiting for us and even gave us some recommendations on tourist spots! The shower worked well and we were able to sleep on clean bedding. The room was also cute!

With its retro atmosphere, this hotel is perfect for a trip to Tainan.
The room was clean and comfortable.
The staff also spoke Japanese, so it was easy for Japanese guests to stay there, and they also gave me some great recommendations for places near the hotel, which made me feel at ease. If I had to point out a drawback, I'd say it's not a very good view due to the location (you can't see outside), and there are no toothbrushes in the amenities.

非常推薦這間民宿，位置就在冰鄉附近，基本上大部份的小吃店都可以用走路到達，包括神農街、海安路、林百貨等地方都十分方便，民宿夫妻人也超級nice，一入住也會先給你地圖和推薦一些景點和餐廳。
硬要挑的話可能就是房間洗手間和淋浴間的設計或許不是那麼適合朋友或是剛交往的情侶，這般「開放式」的洗手間應該不是每個人都能適應喲！
