The reason why I am disappointed with their service is solely because I had high expectations having read earlier reviews. I find the receptionist indifferent upon greeting me, was condescending while ‘explaining’ things with me, extremely disrespectful through my check-in process.
It is a hostel, with a 2*2 meter space. And I paid what I got. No frills, which is fine. But that attitude at check-in… that’s overselling this whole ‘unique Taitong local wholesomeness’.

Although the rooms are small, but they are cozy, nice and clean!!! Located at the heart of Taitung city, and walking distance to street food, fresh market and supermarkets. There’s also night market in the area over the weekend.

Very good hotel. There is a coffee shop on the first floor. The hand-brewed coffee is very good. You can use the dinner rolls provided for breakfast. I also bought two bags of coffee beans.
There is laundry and drying on the basement floor, and laundry detergent is provided, which is very convenient.
The room is small but the suitcase can just be opened. Clean and comfortable.

The style of the hotel is consistent. The bathroom we chose did not have dry and wet separation, but the hair dryer was quite easy to use. There is a lot of space on the first floor of the basement, with many books to choose from and a kitchen to use. In addition, there are wooden stairs on the first basement floor that can lead to the first floor!

The room and bathroom are clean and the design is pretty nice. There is a coffee shop on the first floor. It is conveniently located in the center of Taitung City. The Central Market is next to it. A charger like the one in ************** is fine. You also need to bring a plug. There is no USD plug.
