Hoya Resort Hotel Taitung Reviews

Hotel is good. Surprisingly, got dinner buffet. Stayed two nights, 90% of the food in breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were same. Complimentary Coffee and drinks are good enough at the reception.

It’s not a resort, no swimming pool, no spa, no gym, and no playground. No safe box in room, but there are a few at the front desk. It’s pretty close to beach park and forest park. The hotel provides free bikes. It’s about 15 minutes drive between the hotel and Taitung Train Station, the taxi cost is around NTD 250 one way. No Uber in Taitung, but the hotel can call a taxi for you and you can find taxi easily at the train station.

The hotel is well situated within the downtown area. It’s about a 10min walk to the nearby night market. Great service by the hotel staff and they upgraded us to a family room as we requested 2 beds. Highly recommend to stay with them again.

The hotel is in a good location. You can walk to Tiehua Village and the tourist night market. There are meals available after 8pm. If you have dinner later, you can actually stay in the hotel and eat. The meals are all good👍

The 4-star hotel found on Ctrip is reasonably priced and located on Zhengqi Road, the main road in the city. Many snack bars are gathered here, basically within 5-600 meters, and you can find them all within a few steps... After 8 p.m., Yexiao is also available. The content is unambiguous, almost like a simplified version of the buffet dinner... My favorite is braised pork rice + braised eggs, classic and full of flavor, quite authentic! We went to the restaurant for breakfast at around 7 o'clock the next morning. It was the same restaurant and there were quite a few customers!! The dishes were very different from Yexiao. The most similar thing was a bowl of braised pork rice + braised eggs, plus some fish floss, which was satisfying. ing!! Echeveria salad is very special and tastes good!!
