It was really good, but there aren't many Korean reviews, so I'm leaving this!
I stayed one night at a hotel and one night at a guesthouse in Takayama, and I was just as satisfied as the hotel 🙂
I went with my boyfriend and booked a twin room.
I was worried because it was my first time using the guesthouse, but it was clean, safe, and comfortable.
I arrived a little early, left my luggage in advance, wandered around nearby, and checked in! The owner speaks English well~
The bathroom and shower room are shared, but the bathroom was on the first and second floors, and the shower room was divided into three booths on the first floor, so I used it without much inconvenience.
When I visited, there weren't many guests, so it was quiet and everyone was very considerate, which was really nice!
However, the location tends to be a bit far from the station or terminal, about 20-25 minutes on foot, but it was great for walking while slowly looking around Takayama, and it was even better to rent a bicycle to go around in the afternoon haha (400 yen for 4 hours) I recommend renting a bicycle!! !!! 👍
We mistook the time and couldn't use it, but if you don't want to walk, there is a free shuttle bus to the station, so it would be nice to use it!
And right next to it is Hie Shrine, where Your Name is set, so it would be nice to take a look at it once in a while.
