"Although it is very retro and old, the service is very good, the hot spring in the large bath is quite good, it is very clean and the layout is grand, without any shabby feeling.
The hotel lobby is really in retro Western style, and it has a unique flavor. Accompanied by the self-service coffee, the sense of happiness is upgraded.
The location is good, you can walk to Takeo Tower Gate and JR Station. This hotel was built in 1910 and can be used as a landmark. Taxi drivers know it."

"The onsen is amazing. Extremely convenient location which just 30 second away from railway station. There is bike free for use as well. Some of the staffs can speak English and they are all very helpful and nice. You can enjoy Japanese style breakfast as well. Highly recommended !!!"

Carefully remember the room number of each guest and accurately bring out the shoes to us! What a surprise!
When we checked out and drove away, they were still waiting at the door to say goodbye to us ~ I was really touched! Treat with care and sincerity!
There is a large public bath on the 1st and 4th floors respectively (the time is different, the 4th floor is larger and has a water dispenser). The shower gel and shampoo in the large public bath are very useful.
Have breakfast in the large room on the second floor, the Japanese set menu is full of details and deliciousness

"Overall, I think it was good. The hot springs were also very comfortable and made my skin smooth. "The hotel has only 10 rooms, the facilities are new, 10 points clean, Japanese style and wind, there is a massage function in the open air, the staff is 10 points good, will call to remind you to eat dinner and breakfast, originally need to leave the hotel early, can not enjoy dinner, The hotel specially arranged breakfast at an early time, very considerate service. "It's a decent hot spring hotel. The two of us only brought a backpack for this trip. It's a bit funny to huddle in the corner with our only luggage and think about it. Hahahaha. There are many accommodations on Takeo Onsen street, but this one should be considered quite cost-effective. It costs 1,580 RMB on Saturday. After all, prices have increased across the board after the epidemic.
It felt like it wasn't the type to accept foreign tourists, so I finally climbed up Jalan to read the reviews. As for dining, the quality of dinner was not as good as the Takasago Onjuku in Ureshino where I stayed before. It was not delivered to the room but was eaten in the restaurant, but it was quite rich. Of course there would be Ureshino tofu for breakfast, but I really didn’t have any tsukemono. feel…
The air conditioner in the room was a bit too powerful, so it was relatively dry. The hot spring is not a big place. I feel that the area on the second floor is much larger than the first floor. According to the hotel's own introduction, it has a history of two hundred years. In the words of the four old Nagasaki aunties who I met while bathing and eating, it’s a すべすべ~ Unfortunately, there is no ice milk vending machine, and an additional 300 yen hot spring tax will be paid when checking out."

"Conveniently located Japanese-style hotel (Ryokan) just mins from central Takeo Onsan. Seemingly just opened or re-opened since 2023, a good combination of old historical Ryokan (no longer used as guest room)
Actual accommodation is newly built 2-storey Japanese style villa with own half open-air Onsan.
Overall impression and service was good; however dining was a little let down and not too many facilities available. Priced somewhat too high for both local and foreign visitors."
