"The hotel's location is super convenient, right across from the South Exit of JR Takeo-Onsen Station! Check-in is after 3 PM, and the staff are very welcoming. There's a main building and an annex, and you use your room key card to access your room. At the front desk, you can find free toothbrushes, coffee, bath towels, and wooden combs. It's a shame they don't offer small packets of skincare products. Also, drinking water isn't provided in the room! There isn't a convenience store right outside the hotel, but there's a small supermarket inside the JR station. Breakfast is a simple buffet with both Japanese and Western options; the milk is delicious! The annex on the 8th floor has a public bath and a laundry room, and the rooms are quite spacious. You can borrow bicycles from the front desk to get around. Overall, it's a great stay!"

"The location is great, about a 10-minute walk from Takeo Station! The roads are flat and easy to walk on. There's a bakery on the first floor of the city hall, which has delicious food, and a fruit shop at the intersection—fresh and inexpensive! Located directly in front of the building entrance, my corner room had a perfect view of the building's nightscape! Absolutely beautiful! The staff were always incredibly warm and welcoming, meticulously maintaining traditional Japanese etiquette for every guest! Although they couldn't communicate in English very well, they always managed to communicate with each other through gestures—fantastic! The hotel has two hot spring baths with a comfortable temperature and ample amenities! Soaking in the hot springs was incredibly relaxing! Two meals are included with each stay, and the dishes are plentiful and delicious! Perfect for travelers looking for a more in-depth experience! A leisurely trip to experience the vibrant atmosphere of Takeo City!"

"It is recommended to bring breakfast and dinner when making a reservation. It is really filling. Each room has its own service staff. I stayed in an independent Japanese-style room at the corner of the second floor of Yanmizu Room. The waiter was Ms. Tominaga, who was estimated to be in her 70s. She was lean, capable, and very neat. (It's a bit embarrassing to let the elderly serve). The room is very clean, but the room is a bit cold, and the air conditioner is not very powerful. But when it gets cold, I go to the bathhouse to take a dip. There are three bathhouses to choose from. There is no one else but myself, and others will not disturb me. It's great! It is a very thorough Japanese service experience. Expensive, but well worth it."

"Shunkei-ya is located in the hot spring town, so it's easy to visit other shops. I was also very happy to be able to take an early morning bath at Motoyu, which is nearby. Although it was the cheapest course at the inn, it was delicious and I was able to eat until I was full. The staff were also very nice. I was able to take a leisurely bath in the bath. The taxi driver I called from the inn the next day efficiently took me around Takeo's tourist spots, which allowed me to tour Takeo's tourist spots without any hassle, and it was a very fulfilling trip. It was so good that I've already made a reservation to stay at Shunkei-ya with a friend who lives nearby in March."
