Six Star Motel Taoyuan

The bed and pillows were super comfy, and the breakfast was delicious. The soundproofing was excellent, and there were plenty of movies to watch. The fridge came stocked with lemon tea and coke, and the biscuits from the snack bar were tasty. The freshly ground coffee smelled wonderful.

The central air conditioning reeked of smoke, which was absolutely unbearable and made me feel like I was losing it. The shower head leaked at the end, but the water pressure was decent, and the hot water was fairly stable. Overall, the room was cleaned adequately, but the coffee tray on the desk was incredibly dirty – it looked like it hadn't even been noticed. Next to it, there was a makeshift desk with two chairs that were old and broken; I even had to take pictures of the dirt on them.

The environment was fine. The food wasn't great but it was edible and clean overall. As it's a private room, the soundproofing was excellent, but the audio equipment was pretty bad and needs improvement. Although a coffee machine and beans were provided, it was broken and completely unusable.

The room was bright, clean, and odor-free – exactly like the pictures on the platform! The facilities were also quite new and had everything you'd expect. I loved being able to log into my iQIYI and Netflix accounts on the TV to binge-watch shows. Plus, they didn't charge extra for an additional comforter. The breakfast was hands down the best I've had at a motel! They offered a main dish along with plenty of sides like salad, milk and cereal, and congee with small dishes. The staff were also very friendly, and the overall value for money was excellent! It would be perfect if they could offer a selection of different pillows for guests to choose from. I'm used to sleeping on a latex pillow, and the hotel's feather pillows were all too flat for me.

Great! The hotel is lovely, soundproofed, and offers plenty of private space. It's my first time staying at a motel that feels this way. The TV and sound system were also good. I slept very comfortably all night, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the steak, which was a nice surprise.

This was my first time staying at the Six Star Hotel in Taoyuan, and I chose the business quad room. The price on Friday wasn't bad, and it included breakfast. The room was clean, and the air conditioning was really, really cold! Aside from a slight noise from the AC, the overall experience was good. The hot water for the shower came on quickly, no long wait needed! 👍 For breakfast, you could order a set meal; the portion wasn't huge but it was decent. The self-service buffet didn't have many options, but what they had was quite tasty! There's also a parking lot next to the business rooms. I'd definitely choose Six Star again if I'm back in Taoyuan.

I requested a non-smoking room via email, but still ended up in a room with a strong cigarette smell. Even after the hotel did an ozone treatment, the smell returned within 1-2 hours. From now on, I won't choose motels for my travels. I hope those who dislike third-hand smoke can avoid this place.
