Polaris

Walking around the area I never expected such a beautiful structure with large rooms (in Japan they are small). Clean rooms, with parquet and very large windows. The restaurant is only for those who have the room and they cook very well. They are isolated from the town but close to the lake. I highly recommend

I was worried that it would be different from a hotel as it was my first time staying at a pension, but the guest rooms, lobby, dining room, etc. were all designed with the warmth of wood, and the cleaning was meticulous, so I had a comfortable time. The food is also very delicious, and the dishes and drinks that use local products are lined up. At key points, the owner's small information about Hokkaido and nature such as stars and birds were attached, so I was able to enjoy Hokkaido everywhere. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the starry sky or the sunrise due to the weather, but we were satisfied with the planetarium in the room and the cuteness of the mascot cat Kiki-kun. I would love to use it again.

I visited on my honeymoon. The day before our stay, the weather was rough and the traffic was messed up, so I was worried about whether we would be able to make it safely, but the owner looked up various information and was very kind even before our stay, so it was very reassuring. It's just Even after we arrived, they suggested a travel schedule, prepared a star map and a surprise cake for our wedding anniversary, took us out to see the sky full of stars (with the owner's commentary!), and starry sky photography. Each and every event and thoughtfulness was really fresh and happy for us as a couple, and I was so relieved to see that they treated me so warmly. I visited Hokkaido for the first time this time, and it was a wonderful trip that made me want to go to Eastern Hokkaido again the next time I go. The room is clean and has a homely atmosphere. Nature surrounds you as far as the eye can see. Cats are cute and you can also watch wild birds. This is a pension that I would wholeheartedly recommend to first-timers.

I had a hard time finding an inn that I could reserve in Kawayu Onsen, so I searched without limiting the location, and found a hit, Mr. POLARIS. I definitely want to go to a pension where I can meet my favorite "starry sky" and "cat"! ! I immediately sent an email requesting a reservation. Thank you for your kind consent. When you enter the room, there are various considerations. Next to the full-length mirror, there was an accessory tray, lotion, milky lotion, etc., and there was also an outlet that could be used for a hair dryer. I was able to complete my grooming work in front of the full-length mirror, and I could see the thoughtfulness and consideration of making it so that I could reach out to itchy areas. At the meal, they served local Hokkaido gourmet food, and each one was accompanied by an explanation, so knowing the background made the meal even more enjoyable. I thought the starry sky tales on the place mats were printed from the Internet, but when I read them, I was surprised to find that they were handmade by Polaris. I ate carefully so as not to get it dirty, and then took it home. It seems that it is different every month, so next time I come, I want to come in another month. From the next day, we were hit by a blizzard, and all JR trains, buses, and planes were suspended. Even though I had checked out, I received worrying emails and thought about how to get home somehow. I was able to find Mr. POLARIS, and he supported me not only during my stay but also before and after my trip. Ever since I came back, I have been talking to my family and friends about the kindness I received from Polaris and the cuteness of the cats. I will be returning to Hokkaido again, so please let me know when that time comes. I'm really thankful to you.

11/6から2泊の滞在でした。 シーズンオフということもあってか他のお客さんはいなくて、ほぼ貸し切り状態(^-^; オーナー夫妻がとてもフレンドリーで、 旅のコンシェルジュもしていただきました(*^^*) 看板ネコ２匹(キキ＆クマちゃん)たちもとても可愛く癒されます～ ネコ好きにはたまらないお宿だとおもいます🐈 朝はダイニングから餌をついばむバードウォッチングができます🐦 お食事もボリューミーで、美味しく楽しめました(^－^) そして、なんと言っても、満点の星空を見ることができました(感動～！)、 旦那さまが撮影のアドバイス＆星空講座をしてくださいました。 ペンションの周りには、広大な牧草が広がり、日の出もみることができます お部屋も窓が大きく、もー、ずっと、ぼーっとして、この景色を見ていたい～ 特に、都会の喧騒に疲れた方にはもってこい！ そんなお宿です。また季節を変えて訪れたい～と思いました。

夏休みに家族で宿泊させて頂きました。オーナーご夫婦と猫のクマくんキキちゃんのおもてなしに癒されながら、豊かな自然と景色、美味しいご飯を満喫しました。 夜はオーナーの引率で星空鑑賞をさせて頂き、写真もプレゼント頂きました。 お部屋も細かいところまで行き届いた清潔感のある作りで大変過ごしやすかったです。 近くの林でシマエナガも見られるようで、次回は是非冬にも訪れたいと思います。 ありがとうございました。

右半身不自由な妻と利用しました。　 　・洗い場の有る独立した風呂場 　（洗い場は有ってもトイレと同じスペースではトイレ周りも濡れ不快） 　・シャワートイレがトイレスペース右角にあり取っ手の位置も良い 　（トイレスペース左側に便器があると壁取っ手が左手の反対側になるので、座る・立つ際に無理な姿勢になる） 　・トイレスペースに有る洗面台は、車椅子のままで寄せられ顔が洗える 　（足、膝が洗面台下に入らないところが多い） 連泊して近隣をゆっくり散策してみたいです。
