The room is clean this time. It was a beautiful room. It was spacious and it was good to have a twin. However, when I made the reservation, it was a pity that I could not request a non-smoking room because all the rooms were "partially non-smoking" or smoking on the reservation site. As a result, I was able to call the hotel directly and change to a non-smoking room, which was good, but I felt that they wanted more completely non-smoking rooms. I feel a sense of unfairness when I think that I could have used a smoking room at a cheaper price. I am very happy with the buffet breakfast. Correspondence of Staff was kind, too.

We stayed for 4 nights on a tour to stay in Tono for a long time. The room was a spacious twin room on the upper floor, and the interior was new and comfortable. There was a hotel-made pound cake and a present for newcomers on the desk. The cake made with local Kamihei Sake Brewery red yeast was very delicious with a faint scent of alcohol. The bathroom was also new and clean, but I didn't use it because there is a large public bath on the 3rd floor. We could see Nanbu Shrine and the ruins of Nabekura Castle from our room. On the other side across the corridor, you can see the town of Tono. Breakfast was buffet style at a restaurant called "Ichou" on the first floor. You can eat freshly made tofu from nearby tofu shops, and there are many local dishes. Iwaizumi's rich yogurt is also a nice dessert. For dinner, we had a kaiseki meal at the banquet hall on the second floor, which was also delicious with Tono's main dishes. During my stay, two staff members at the hotel treated me like a concierge, which was very helpful. This hotel has the same series as Tono Monogatari no Yakata and Tono Castle Town Museum, so I was able to see the museum on the last day. It was a little troublesome system that you can not buy tickets at this museum alone. The story of the storytelling department held every night was also good. Although it is a little far from Tono Station, it is a recommended hotel to stay in Tono.

To be honest, it was not as good as I expected, considering that it is the best hotel in Tono where the Emperor visited. I don't mean to intentionally go into detail, but please consider the following points. 1. The staff is polite, but it feels inflexible according to the manual. Check-in before 3 o'clock has been refused curtly. 2. I was told that I had to make a reservation at least two days in advance to eat at the restaurant in the hotel, but I was not informed in advance. 3. I have never experienced a charge of 500 yen a day for a parking lot of its own at other hotels. 4. The bus switch is on the left side of the door, and when the door is opened, the switch cannot be turned on. I think this is a fundamental design mistake. If you want to keep the lights on all the time, it's against the ecology. 5. There are no combs in the public bath. It's normal to want to lightly style your hair after washing your head (does that mean you should bring a comb in addition to a towel?) 6. The alarm clock in the room is out of order and seems to be a mechanism that you can't adjust yourself, etc.

The front desk was nice. He carefully taught me about things around and far away. Thank you for your kindness in regards to road conditions and the appearance of bears.

Every time I am disappointed with the sagging of the mattress on the bed and the lack of fluffiness of the towels. It's a shame because the facility as a whole feels fine, clean, and privacy is protected. For dinner, there are only mini-kaiseki dishes that cost over 3,000 yen and reservations are required, so if you can't drive to the main road, you won't have much choice to pay for meals in the 1,000 yen range.
