A hen party of 13 is always hard as a hotel. But we weren’t a particularly loud group. I’d say it would be nice to be able to choose if you had a balcony or at least have the chance to pay for the upgrade as room allocations appeared pot luck. Most of us didnt get lucky and had wall views! The rooms were clean, and towels were changed daily if required, but the rooms definitely were not cleaned daily. The staff were just rude! I can only assume reception didn’t know how to say thank you or please in English, as I never heard it uttered once. The pool situation was laughable, it didn’t open until 10am, which for some (including me) meant your day couldn’t start until then, but it also created a massive Benny Hill style rush for sun beds as there is NO WAY near enough sun beds for the amount of people at the hotel. The food choices were plentiful, but other than the pizza there was nothing nice, it was all boarder line ok, and certainly nothing hot. I’d usually just resort to having salad and chips, but the some of the salad was black and slimy and the chips were cold…..in fact everything was cold. We also all wanted to sit together when we ate, but despite there being plenty of room in the dining room with many empty tables, were were told by the rude staff we could only sit at the tables of 4 or 6. When we asked why we couldn’t join two together we were just told we couldn’t 🙄 I accept you get what you pay for and it certainly wasn’t expensive, and it could be ok, BUT it wasn’t. Word of warning, this place was full of groups, hen parties, stag parties, group holidays, we were ok as we were one of them. If you’re a couple, or family I’d say this would be a strong no go if you want chill/quiet relaxing pool days. If your a group looking to book, I’d probably try elsewhere.
