What a wonderful place! We booked one night here to really soak in the Japanese atmosphere and nature. Many people say the location is far from the city center, but it's actually only about a 10-minute drive, plus they offer a shuttle service to and from the center. Dinner was luxurious, especially if you love seafood and fish. That evening, we got to try so many things we hadn't tasted before. They provide yukatas and special slippers, and everyone walks around the village in them, which really makes you feel connected. Unfortunately, we didn't get to visit all the onsens, but this place definitely left the biggest impression on us from our entire trip! Oh, and they have massage chairs and foot massagers too!

Amazing place. Kinosaki will forever be in my heart. I adore the onsen at this ryokan, especially because it has a cold plunge pool. They provide Refa hair dryers, and help is always available everywhere. I will definitely be back!

This was the most satisfying hotel I stayed at in Osaka. It was incredibly quiet and relaxing. After getting off the train and exploring a bit, enjoying a delicious lunch, I just took the free shuttle right in front of the station to the hotel. The shuttle service is complimentary, and while it's scheduled to depart on the hour, the driver was very accommodating and would take guests whenever there were people, dropping them off wherever they needed to go – excellent service! If I get the chance, I'll definitely bring my family back here to enjoy the hot springs and good food. The hotel has a pure Japanese style, and both breakfast and dinner were fantastic. In the afternoon, I took the kids to the hot springs and enjoyed some coffee. In the evening, listening to the patter of rain, with the heating on, and sipping on the complimentary beer from the hotel – it was simply blissful!

A very pleasant hotel with friendly staff. It has everything you need inside. There's a coffee machine, tea, and water in the lobby. Beautiful view of the inner garden. There's also a private banya (sauna) and designated smoking areas. Lunches and breakfasts were served in separate private rooms.

This was the best place we stayed at by far! The staff were incredibly welcoming, making it a truly unique experience for tourists. They even picked us up from the train station in a shuttle bus and took us directly to the hotel. They provided us with yukata robes and explained everything thoroughly (the staff spoke excellent English). Although you can wear your own clothes, the overall atmosphere really encourages you to change into the yukata and immerse yourself in the Japanese spirit. The room itself was beautiful, decorated in a traditional Japanese style, as were the hallways, which featured small wooden statues and calligraphic scrolls. Soft music played subtly in the corridors, and a pleasant, non-intrusive incense aroma filled the air. It was absolutely delightful! And finally, the food: we opted for both dinner and breakfast, and the spread was incredible! Everything was delicious and beautifully presented, with generous portions – anyone would be satisfied. They even served delicacies like snow crab and premium meats. We definitely hope to come back here again!

We had a lovely time in February at this ryokan. The crab dinner feast remains one of the memorable highlights of our trip to Kansai region. If I had to nitpick something, it was that the raw prawns/shrimp I was served was a little mushy and not freshest. The hotel onsen was also nicer than some of the public onsens, it was certainly bigger than a few too. Big rooms and very very clean and spotless. The services, shuttle bus, massage chairs, free ice cream and popsicles and tea were all nice touches. I enjoyed our stay and would love to be back.

Very peaceful Ryokan, a 5min walk to the main street. Great service / food / room, and a quaint internal garden. They have a shuttle for various points in Kinosaki Onsen.
