Palazzo Mottola is a small, quaint and lovely boutique hotel in Tropea with an amazing rooftop terrace where you will enjoy sipping on your sunset cocktails far away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby downtown area. Our room was comfortable, cozy , very well maintained and superclean. All staff members ( Francesca and Saverio at the front desk and Rosa at the breakfast buffet) are very attentive, and kind. Always helpful and available to give the right advice about restaurants and excursions. All the breakfast food was fresh and delicious with plenty of choices between sweet and savoury goodies. We can't wait to return!

A truly idyllic stay in one of the most beautiful hotels in Tropea. Everything was just awesome. The rooms are very quaint and cosy. The breakfast was a very good spread including local delicacies served on the terrace with breathtaking sea views . Rosa was always very attentive and ready to serve with a smile. The front of house both Francesca and Saverio were super accommodating especially during our few days with a cold, had arranged a local doctors appointment as well as catering from a nearby restaurant. Highly recommended stay in Tropea! We would love to come back again soon one day and enjoy it all again! Roof top sunsets were spectacular!

Great view. We stayed in the nicest suite. Lovely breakfast. Unfortunately the room above ours was occupied by complete ****** that must have been clog dancers. They started clog dancing at 7 in the morning till 8 and again in the afternoon around 3 to 4. Do not rent the second floor suite because you can hear every and I mean every food step from the people above you. Of course it would help if they didn't wear hard shoes. I have posted a photo of the ceiling from our bedroom so you can see.

The Structure is a dream! It always feels like being on a boat: you see the sea from the room,during breakfast and at the aperitif from the RoofTop. Too bad about the lack of elevator but the staff always brings your luggage from 9.00 am to 11.00 pm. Very good Martina's cakes, this is the first time I had a plumcake with vegetables--I got the recipe. Thank you very much for everything.

My husband and I were in the Region of Calabria and decided to go to Tropea as we had never been. I booked Palazzo Mottola for just the one day and night as we had plans for the rest of our vacation. Once we got to Tropea and to the hotel I could not just stay the one day and extended our stay to three days two nights. The hotel is beautiful, clean and what makes it a wonderful stay is the staff, so accommodating and friendly. The view from the balcony is spectacular, I’ve travelled to many islands but this beach is by far my favourite. I will return hopefully next year. Thank you for making my vacation a memorable one! A presto !!

Best hotel in Tropea! Very beautiful interior, best view from the balcony at breakfast and fantastic staff! Perfect location and 6 min walk to the beach. The breakfast could be better with more options and more fresh food. Overall good stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Nice rooms, spectacular view, that‘ s it, no service, boring breakfast ( at least if you don“t have the luck to get one of the 3 tables on the balcony. No way to enter the rooftop terrace, no interest of the stuff to make it possible. We organized drinks from a bar nearby to have them as a sundowner on the balcony, and if you believed or not we haven’t been able to enjoy the sunsets because of dropping water from cleaning the rooftop terrace at sun set time. Who is organising such a horrible service? We got no excuse, no help at departure with the luggage Unbelievable service, our worst experience in a 3 week travelling around Italy trip. How sad for this lovely place

So difficult to describe such a magic experience. A Warm and smiling welcome , a very nice room cleaned twice a day. Paola and analisa always ready to help and give good advices.the view on the rooftop is breathtaking and the breakfast is perfect .
