Every meal was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, making dining a truly enjoyable experience. The room itself was spacious, beautifully designed, and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. But the highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking view—waking up to the lush greenery and serene surroundings was an unforgettable experience. Every staff member we encountered, from housekeeping to the concierge, went above and beyond to make our stay special. Their attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction truly set The Kenran apart. If you’re looking for a tranquil and luxurious escape in Ubud, I highly recommend The Kenran. The place is very nice , and the location is super good. At the beginning I got scared to see it is in the main road , but once I got in I stoped listening to g e road and it has a big forest behind it. The swimming pool area is also nice . And all the restaurants and places and in walkable distance , so is nice to just get out of the motorbikes for a while, totally recommend it

Great hotel at the centre of the most popular street in Ubud. Good if you are short on time. Good breakfast! Great service with a smile, offered free afternoon coffee. Could not do early check in, but got upgraded to junior sweet with semi-private pool, which was worth it!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel that beautifully preserves the local culture and traditional Balinese architecture. The location is excellent—within walking distance of Ubud Palace, the art market, and the Campuhan Ridge Walk. It’s also surrounded by bars/ restaurants, and cafes. The staff provided great service throughout, and the food was delicious. The view from the hotel is truly breathtaking, and the pool area is calm and serene—perfect for relaxing. One thing to note: there are quite a lot of stairs, so it may not be ideal for those with mobility issues. Overall, a memorable and authentic Ubud experience!

Adorable hotel, really lovely setting, plush gardens, two nice pools, although no pool side service available, not a big deal as pool was just metres from my room. Free daily soft drink mini bar. Huge bed, comfortable size room with all the necessities. Didn’t have breakfast but did order room service, it was good and a reasonable price. Good size supermarket a couple of doors down, many restaurants and shops outside, close to monkey forest, kekak dance place, yoga barn, and the museum/palace are about 20 mins walk. Solo traveller, felt safe.

location perfect. Walking distance to everywhere specially Monkey forest ( It was my priority , that is why i chose this hotel) Room is not big fancy. But good size , I booked with balcony corner room. If u just come for some 2-3 nights , Bed not that comfy. Overall is ok, no complaint. Service is ok . It is covering all basic necessity. My hope was if TV could connect to Netflix but can't

Exceptional Service, Delicious Breakfast, but Bathroom Odor an Issue I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed with the level of service provided. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests. The room was spacious and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, making my stay quite comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was great and delicious, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The quality of the food was excellent, and it was a perfect start to each day. However, I did encounter an issue with the bathroom. There was a noticeable smell coming from the toilet, which was quite unpleasant. Despite informing the staff, the problem persisted throughout my stay. This was a bit disappointing and affected the overall experience. If the bathroom odor issue can be addressed, this hotel would certainly be a top choice due to its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and fantastic breakfast. I hope management takes steps to resolve this problem for future guests.

Cons 1st, the hotel had so many young people, and they were so loud, the hotel should have had quiet time after 10pm, those young people made so much noise from about 10pm- 4am! 😡 There should be quiet hrs or keep the noisey people separate from people who enjoy their sleep! I WOKE UP WITH A HEADACHE, I reported it and all the staff could say was sorry and did nothing about it! Being passive will not earn you a good review or repeat customer, so unfortunately I won't recommend or return to this hotel. The dinner was bland, the fish was horrible, I couldn't eat it, no seasoning lt was just crispy on the outside and steamed fish dough on the inside. I took to my room and threw it away, not even salt or pepper. The breakfast was good though. I only ate the breakfast and ate out the other times. Pros, nice staff, and clean rooms!🤗

The staff were warm, friendly, and always accommodating, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The bathroom had open ventilation, which is great for airflow, though adding a screen would help keep insects out. The location is serene and surrounded by beautiful rice fields, perfect for a peaceful retreat. However, the access road to the villa is quite rough and narrow, which might be challenging for some vehicles. Overall, a satisfying stay with great potential for an even better experience.

Good location and good amenities in general. BUT the sound proof is very very bad, I could hear ppl talking from next door and the music/ singing from outside. The toilet sink still has then contact lenses from the previous guest… On the arrival, the aircon was leaking, and the only solution given is to move the bed and no other compensations. We changed our room on the 2nd day, the staff promised to move our things to the new room, and they missed out my shoes during the move, I have to rent shoes for the batur hike, there is also no solution or compensation, more like “ sorry we cannot find” Nice stay but will not come back again.
