Staff were friendly and welcoming. Location is a little tricky, right on the highway. They charge for parking, which makes no sense as they are not in town. Breakfast was good. Definitely not the nicest HIE that I’ve been to. Pretty convenient to a park-n-ride, which is definitely the easiest and cheapest way to tour the town.

Very pleasant 2 night stay, a little cramped in the room with a sofa bed for our boys, but room and hotel were very clean. Great breakfast with attentive and friendly staff, including the manager. Great base for Canterbury, we also visited Whitstable around 30 mins and Leeds castle around 30 mins

Easy location for exploring Dover and Canterbury area right off the highway. Staff were very kind and care about your experience and kept asking how they can help. The free breakfast was amazing and so many options. The room was clean and large and we slept really well. You do have to pay 3 pounds for parking.

Spot on hotel, you know exactly what you'll get with HIE and this is no different. Perfect place to stay if using for overnight stay close to Eurotunnel. Excellent breakfast and good parking options. Rooms are small but ok. Tea and coffee options in room.

Just like any other holiday Inn hotel , but have just participated in a survey which was fixed .. they gave the hotel a score which was higher than I wanted to give them. Are they that desperate now for good reviews . As I said to the staff I only use these holels when I have to . The rip the back side out of you during the summer on prices and then expect you to be loyal over the winter. Have found so many better hotels that look after you all year long and the pricing in constant. Off a free beer after they charge you an £ 30/40 a night to say wousl say would be a minimum 😂😂

I stayed here for 3 days and it was glorious. The manager greeted me on arrival, asking if I had had a good journey. I was immediately aware that reception was beautiful and clean. I was shown to the room where I was teaching and it was lovely and bright, clean and all ready for my delegates. Fresh cold water, tea, coffee was all there. My room was brilliant. Spacious, the bed super comfy ( I could have lived in that bed!), pillows so so fluffy. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was impressive. I was worried as I forgot my sleep band but even though my room was near the A2, I had a really good sleep and woke up refreshed. Dinner was delicious, fresh, lovely flavour and honestly the staff could not do enough for me. Breakfast was a joy. Hot cooked food, cereals, tea, coffee etc….. Each and every member of staff were polite, friendly, respectful and extremely professional. I sincerely hope I return here in the future. It was a complete joy to stay here.

I need a hotel last minute, and so booking in the afternoon of my arrival , and on arrival, hotel behind fuel station, I have to say, thought what have I booked, but wow what a find, staff superb, very clean and tidy, amazing dinner offerings, and breakfast was superb, will definitely stay again, WELL DONE TO ALL THE STAFF,

Great value for money, good location, great first impression of hotel with very well up to the mark refurbished clean rooms, clean shower, very comfy bed, and we had service every day. Arrived from South Africa and it was just incredible walking into this beautiful surrounding atmosphere with the most friendly and helpful receptionist and all staff were very courteous, professional, no request for assistance was a problem for them. They were very attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Booking a cab was very quick without any hassles or delay. Breakfast was excellent, service nice and fast. We requested for vegetable sausages, and that was organised in no time, really enjoyed the exotic biryani that was served. The very special caring service provided by both the Chefs was excellent, they always went the extra mile to make sure if everything was fine and if we required anything else, especially Chef Sunil. Real professionalism by the whole team of Holiday Inn Express, Canterbury. Thank you. We had a great stay, we will definitely be back, AND we would highly recommend this hotel.
