Shower didn’t work, room wasn’t clean, didn’t give me my passport back in time

The worst Accor hotel I've ever experienced!!! The hotel is aged, not well maintained, maybe some bathrooms were renovated only. The lobby is pretty - I was thus attracted when navigating in travel websites. The very very worst part was the staff, the front line members were not experienced/ well trained. No one from the staff would greet guests, when you have eye contact with them they would turn their sights away! The more senior the more impolite, rude and arrogant they were!!! I am sorry but I need to say the Mr Gao (高) in the Front Desk was really disgusting ！！！

The hotel is very nice . I think thus is the best in Urmuqi.

It's in the middle of the largest Wholesale center in Urumchi.

Good place and friendly staff. Alice was very helpful, send a young boy to deliver phone charger and free coffee to my room.👍

Very helpful, presentable, and courteous staff. The restaurant on the second floor is delicious. Rooms are clean, however require some maintenance - the shower/tub was blocked, the tap leaks, some of the light switches don’t work etc. Expect more of a 3.5-4 star.

The hotel certainly had a nice reception area. The rooms were large and the best thing were definitely the amenities. The reception staff did not speak English but they used a translations app without issues. The bed was comfy and the views were nice. I would recommend this place to any foreign travellers.

Everything is quite old. The staffs were very friendly.

It is difficult for foreigners to stay on their own due to communication.

Couldn’t change settings on aircon - had to open the window in to keep room cool. Couldn’t take a bath because plug wouldn’t hold. When enquiring about how to get to Tian Chi/Heavenly Lake, manager tried to pull me into $1000 ‘private’ tour because somehow, foreigners aren’t allowed on the normal tourist bus from Renmin Park (¥100) which turned to not be true at all. Overall, not the best experience especially for paying for 5 star - definitely been to 3 star hotels with better service.

Great place to stay in Urumqi. Towering high above the city skyline, you have an amazing view all the way up to the breathtaking mountain ranges surrounding Urumqi. Although have quite a bit of legacy, the rooms and facilities are still charming, clean and tidy. Service was excellent and super friendly. Would absolutely stay here again!

I visited this hotel for a total of 3 nights over a couple of weeks. Each time I arrived late and left early. So to be perfectly honest I cannot give a thorough review of the Hotel and Amenities. Check in was smooth, checking passports and health codes delays things, but it is a necessary requirement at the moment. My rooms were spacious, comfortable and well appointed. I had views over the suburbs and one over the nearby buildings. Breakfast was good quality buffet on the occasion I was able to eat. A wide variety of food options to suit all types of travelers. Do not anticipate a big plate of Bacon if you are expecting a Western full breakfast however. Swimming pool was closed according to a disappointed travel companion.Downstairs bar area was often unattended. But there is a shop in the parking area just outside to the left, selling basic soft drinks and beer and snacks, if you cannot get bar service. Check in staff were friendly. Bed comfortable, but others in my group complained "too hard" or "too soft" that really is a personal preference. Location, there is a huge shopping complex literally outside the hotel, cross the car park and enter a huge complex (you will be on the 5th floor) that caters for almost any need that I could think of. Restaurant area and night spots were a 10 - 15 minute ride away in a taxi. But there was what looked like a night market and Plaza at street level outside the hotel. I never got to check it out. If I stayed at Urumqi again I would probably choose a cheaper place closer to the airport. When all I needed was a bed the extra travel time and cost is not worth it. If staying several days I would choose this hotel again. That is honestly all I can contribute.
