Located on the outskirts of Santa Elena in a very nice natural environment, this hotel offers a great jungle experience. In hotter days people not used to sleep without air conditioning might have some sleep difficulties as rooms are only equipped with ceiling ventilators. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

Our room run out of water and that was very unpleasant. They allowed us to use another one from another room, but that was not comfortable.
We spent two nights there. There was not cleaning service for the room

Wonderful. Nice, quiet, very safe spot to stay while exploring the area. The hammocks were really nice and the breakfast is outstanding. You should stay here.

Nice, spacious, comfortable building / room in a well kept, garden-like environment.
The hotel “campus” offers plenty of shaded areas to walk, sit and chat around a table. Very relaxing place. I say it without testing the hammock, the chair and the coffee table on the veranda.
The breakfast (coffee, tea, juice, fruits, toast & egg omelet) was tasty and well served.
The place has no on site restaurant, but the town of Santa Elena is in five minutes away, where one can find several.
My only complain is about the shower.
There was a sign in the bathroom suggesting that water is precious, so let’s save it. The message is true, water is scarce in that area.
But I run the shower for minutes before I realized that the “hot” water only a few degrees warmer than the cold one: my willingness to save water just went down through the drain.
Please improve your water heating system. Maybe a bit bigger solar warmer unit would help.

A special experience for sure. Clearly an eco-friendly hotel, but not to such an extreme extent that it affects your stay much. A cute place, quite far into the forest. Sheltered and quiet. I had no reception on my phone, but the wifi worked perfectly. Very nice staff. Bring your own towels, because the ones they have don't absorb water and are completely useless.

Our tour company had booked us to stay here, but had to leave as they had no bar, or restaurant facilities, except breakfast. It was too far from any other hotel for us to walk. The grounds were swarming with mosquitoes. It was a pity as the rooms looked really nice and it might be OK if you had a car and were prepared to go out for all meals and drinks. It appears that in the past they had a bar and did good dinners, but this has now stopped. You may be able to get some warm water, but they only have solar panels, so maybe not. The web site says “on request”. It says English spoken, but they only spoke Spanish and the site seemed to be looked after by a maid and a security guard, with no other staff present

Très joli eco-hotel dans un écrin de nature. Accueil chaleureux. Le personnel est aux petits soins pour que vous passiez un bon moment. Les repas sont de qualité et le service d'un très bon niveau. Une très bonne étape ou s'y arrêter avant de visiter Uxmal

Mitten im Dschungel, im Nichts, eröffnet sich diese authentische kleine Anlage. Die Zimmer sind ganz reizend und sauber, jedoch muss man es abkönnen, dass einem abends draußen auf der zu jedem Zimmer gehörenden geräumigen Terrasse possierliche Fledermäuse um die Ohren fliegen und sich anderes, kleines Getier anschleicht. Überall angebrachte engmaschige Fliegengitter verhindern jedoch deren Vordringen in den Schlafbereich. Es passt zum Hotel, dass es keine Air condition im herkömmlichen Sinne gibt, sondern nur einen leistungsstarken Deckenventilator. Wir fanden das wunderbar und haben bei offenen Türen und Fenstern eine tolle, exotische Nacht verbracht.

Une superbe étape pour rayonner autour Uxmal et visiter les sites de la Ruta Puuc. Un havre de paix au sein de la nature et aux milieu des oiseaux. Chambre confortable et spatieuce. Très bon petit-déjeuner. Accueil vraiment très sympathique et attentionné.
