Great location just on edge of village so very quiet but easy to get to restaurants supermarket .
Reception person very friendly and welcoming, breakfast staff also very friendly and quick to ensure you’re satisfied offering more coffee etc.
Court yard and terrace great to chill.
Large room
Good shower and bathroom.
Ample plug points.
Brilliant continental breakfast with wide range of meats cheeses bread pastries yoghurt etc of (no hot food)
Noisy neighbours clunking about due to design of building. You can here water running and toilet flushing. Also noise from staff preparing breakfast etc - ideally wear earplugs if you’re a light sleeper . Don’t let this put you off though the positives outweigh this.

I've never stayed in such a peculiar room - like a giant bunk. The very gloomy ground floor of the room consists of a sort of small lounge with settee, desk with chair and fridge plus a shower room. You need to climb a 19-step spiral staircase to the mezzanine way up above. Only take up your bedtime essentials! You can't open the shutters which reduces the light considerably although you can open the windows for fresh air. I wonder what the other rooms are like. There's an enclosed shared courtyard but it feels very enclosed and doesn't get much sun. The location is fine - just a few minutes walk into the village square. Everywhere is very peaceful. You will sleep well.

Stayed at this hotel, located in Vallehermos, for two nights whilst exploring La Gomera. Large (free) carpark nearby. Check-in was done via a note left for me at the hotel (which I’ve found normal for the Canaries), and then the formalities completed the morning. The room was compact but adequate, traditional architecture so very little window, but this kept the room cool in hot weather even without aircon. Reasonable bed, good Wi-Fi, variable shower, noisy fridge. Breakfast was excellent with a nice selection of good quality options to choose from. Finding somewhere to eat at night in Vallehermoso was more difficult as the few restaurants seem to close rather early at the weekend. The hotel makes a useful base for exploring the North and West coasts and Garajonay national park in the centre of La Gomera

Basic rooms but very comfortable beds and a great location. Clean, lovely staff, good breakfast and coffee provided in the morning. Service was defect Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again if visiting Vallehermoso.

A quirky hotel room with a spiral staircase from room door and bathroom up to the bedroom. Excellent location for the town centre, restaurants and paths up the mountains. Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Beware there is another hotel called Triana on the other side of town which caught us out (OK, one is Hotel Rural Triana, the other is Aparthotel Triana, but when you only have the name Triana in your head.....)

A lovely small modern hotel .
We hiked to it and really appreciated that our room was ready early so we could dump our rucksacks .
The breakfast was excellent .
Plus if you wanted they could make you a packed lunch again great if your hiking or biking .
Really comfy bed .

Disgusting turned up after an hour's drive from the port in a taxi that cost 50 euros to find the hotel totally locked up. Rang the number on the window no answer. One of the guests answered the door and let us in. He rang the owner on another number. The old woman who owned the hotel eventually turned up. She denied having a booking for us even though she had a print out of the booking from her hotels website on her desk. It's not the first time that she had overbooked according to the German tour guide staying there. AVOID
