This hotel is excellent, Lucas the manager went out of his way to give us advice on local sites.
I really cannot say enough nice things about the way we were treated.
We are American and I know we are a pain to deal with.

Die Vergangenheit ist im Bôdenhaus allgegenwärtig und wird mit den Bildern toll zelebriert. Die Räume sind wunderschön, bis auf den Raum wo Frühstück und Halbpension serviert wird. Man fühlt sich dort wie in einem Lager und leider ist auch die Qualität sowohl beim Frühstück wie auch beim HP-Menu enttäuschend. Für Mittwoch-Abend war Raclette à discretion angesagt. Dabei wurde einem ein Teller mit vier Raclette-Scheiben und drei kleinen Kartoffeln serviert. Leider muss der Käse bereits vorher zubereitet worden sein, er war bereits nicht mehr richtig heiss... Am vierten Abend hätte es wieder die gleiche Hauptspeise wie schon am ersten Abend gegeben... Wir konnten dann ins à la carte Restaurant wechseln. Man fühlte sich wie in einer anderen Welt. Wunderschönes Restaurant mit Ambiente und Stoffserviette und ausgezeichnetes Essen. Somit können wir niemanden die Halbpension empfehlen.

Altehrwürdiges Hotel in schöner Berglandschaft. Sehr nettes Personal, der Service am Abend könnte aufmerksamer sein. Im Großen und Ganzen aber sehr gut.

Das Hotel Bodenhaus war unser Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen rund um Splügen. Das Hotel selber ist zentral in Splügen gelegen mit einem grossen Parkplatz. Das Hotel selber ist ein älteres Gebäude, die Zimmer sind aber soweit modern eingerichtet. Negativ empfand ich, dass es nur ein Kissen gab und auch das Bad/Dusche mit dem mühsamen Zustieg ist etwas veraltet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ok, obwohl ich die Möglichkeit der verschiedenen Eiern vermisste. Personal selber ist sehr freundlich. Preislich für Schweizer Verhältnisse in Ordnung.
