Stayed for 1 week on a business trip, initially I was disappointed there wasn’t a pool but truly the way this little hotel is so thoughtfully managed with care made up for it. Nothing & I mean nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff which was a absolute delight, the cleanliness is exceptional & better than I have found in high end hotels. Breakfast (we had the continental option) was fresh & served timely when you arrived which was great for us as we were on a time schedule as we were there for work but you were never rushed so if on vacation it would also be suitable. The rooms I would not describe as large but are entirely adequate the decor is not modern but is in keeping for the building & also you have a fridge which is great to keep a supply of chilled drinks etc & there is a small supermarket within walking distance. The bed was comfy & I had dual aspect windows with a view down to the harbour which was beautiful. There is a lovely little balcony seated area on the first floor which has the same view. The Hotel is set on the hill so I would recommend hiring a car which can be done through the hotel & it has a car park with electronic security gates. The Hotel also have some permanent guests……. 5 Giant Tortoise which are amazing ! You always imagine everywhere is the Seychelles being high end luxury but don’t count this out if your on a budget & plan to explore its within easy reach of Victoria & only minute’s from Eden island in the car. I would stay here again for business without hesitation. Ps- Did I mention the cleanliness it was amazing & we’ll worth mentioning again 👏👏👏 !!

Nous avons été bien reçu et nous ne sommes pas déçus. L'hôtel est à 15/20min à pieds de l'hyper centre, ca se fait très bien, mais il y a un peu de dénivelé. Si vous circuler en bus, il y a un arrêt juste à côté, mais souvent, il faut descendre dans le centre ou à la gare central 20 min à pieds environ. Le petit déjeuner était correct, mais il aurait peu être plus copieux, beaucoup de choses, d'options sont en suppléments et c'est dommage

Nous avions réservé dans un autre hôtel 4* au départ, mais la propriétaire a eu un dégât des eaux et nous a booké dans le Bel Air Hôtel, en nous assurant payer le même prix. A l’arrivée, le personnel est aimable, le propriétaire a peu près. On nous montre nos chambres, très petites, quasi pas insonorisées. Le petit déjeuner est minimaliste, la plupart des éléments proposés sont en supplément payant. Après deux nuits, vient le temps de régler la note, le prix n’est pas aligné sur le 4* mais plus cher, pour un hôtel de bien moindre qualité avec des prestations clairement moindres. Le réceptionniste appelle le propriétaire avec qui la personne du premier hôtel s’était arrangée, il ne veut rien savoir, il nous réclame un prix plus élevé et me raccroche au nez. Très adulte et commercial comme démarche ! Hôtel à fuir, cher. Seul le personnel est aimable, ainsi que la vue appréciable, pour n’essayer de se rappeler que des points positifs. Pour le reste, le touriste y est vraiment pris pour une vache à lait et raccrocher au nez est juste inadmissible et irrespectueux.

Das Hotel Bel Air ist eine fantastische Unterkunft für Leute, die ein sauberes Zimmer, netten Service und ein Dach über dem Kopf abseits der Pauschaltouristen-Hotels suchen.
Die Lage ist etwas ungünstig am Berg gelegen und ohne Taxi erwas mühsam zu erreichen.
Wer gerne mit Einheimischen ins Gespräch kommen möchte, eine saubere Unterkunft für eine fairen Preis sucht, zwei gesunde Beine zum laufen hat und nichts für gewöhnliche All-Inclusive-Pauschal-Touristen-Pampers-Deppen übrig hat, ist hier fantastisch aufgehoben.

Das Bel Air ist sehr gut für einen Zwischenstopp auf Mahe nach einem langen Flug geeignet, ehe die Reise auf andere Inseln weitergeht. Wir haben dort zwei Nächte verbracht und die Zeit genutzt, Victoria und den Norden von Mahe kennenzulernen. Es war dabei sehr hilfreich, dass wir spontan über das Hotel einen Mietwagen bekommen konnten. Das Hotelpersonal ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfreich, das Hotel ist einfach, aber gut ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt, die Lage über Victoria ist toll. Der kurze Fußweg in die Stadt erleichtert das Sightseeing. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt: Das Hotel verspricht keinen Luxus, aber eine solide Unterkunft für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück, das mit einem frischen Obstteller beginnt. Danach gibt es Toast, Butter, Marmelade, Saft und Joghurt und wahlweise Tee oder Kaffee. Für kleines Geld kann man Eierspeisen, Wurst und Käse zukaufen.
