Hotel Pension Museum

The accommodation provides varied, delicious breakfast in a spacious dining area. It offers large, quiet rooms and top-notch service. Conveniently located with easy access to public transportation and attractions.

Please beware that this hotel is not safe. I ended my stay here after one night after hearing yelling outside of my door followed by knocks and the night manager using a master key to not only open my room door, but walk in it at 2:45am to tell me I did not have a reservation. He immediately left wnd closed my door but proceeded to call me twice to come out. I open the door to him and 2 women and a child yelling that I took their room. The manager then asked me to go to the office across the hall. While I was in the office, the women entered the room I was staying in to view my belongings and also threatened to call the police. It took the manager several minutes to scroll through all of the reservations to find mine, and this was after I showed both my proof of a reservation and an email to the hotel the day before. When I inquired about wanting answers to why they abruptly entered the room I was sleeping in, the manager quickly yelled that he would not sort things until later that morning. I learned later that this same thing happened to several others at the hotel that night, only they successfully got into my room. Please stay away from this hotel! The room wasn't clean, the staff are rude and it's unsafe to have someone use a master key to get into rooms at night while people are sleeping!

I visited Vienna for a couple days on a side trip from a business visit to Budapest. The place is very welcoming. The manager, Constanze, is lovely. The room was nice and reasonably priced, and, if you're interested in seeing the city's museums, the location is outstanding.
