Villa Ekim is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom property located in Ovacik in South West Türkiye. The villa is a 5 minute walk to the lively resort of Hisaronu and a 10 min bus ride (dolmus) to the beautiful Olu Deniz beach. Fethyie is also only 15 minutes away by bus. This is a private villa, with its own gated entrance. Steps lead down into the front garden area, with access to the private pool. Upon entering the property, you come into a spacious reception area with access to the fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons including washing machine, dishwasher, oven and electric hob. The open plan lounge is also situated on the ground floor with fire and a 40 inch flat screen TV, complete with DVD player. The patio doors in the living room and kitchen lead onto a spacious private wrap around terrace, which also allows access to the private pool, pool area and gardens. The gardens are well appointed, and we welcome you to make use of the brick built barbequeand dine al-fresco. There is also a pay as you go WIFI available in the Villa. Marble stairs take you to the first floor where you find the master bedroom complete with a private balcony and en-suite bathroom. The upper floor also has a twin bedroom, again complete with a private balcony, and a family bathroom. There are a further 2 bedrooms on the lower ground floor a twin room and a double room, there is a family bathroom on the lower ground floor. We also have a chill out room with 2 double sofa beds a 32 inch tv and a selection of dvd's and books for those hot days. The villa is air conditioned. The resort area has a welcoming breeze on returning from the hot beach area during the day.THE BEACH – Olu DenizJust 10mins drive from the villa down the winding mountain road is a stunning bay with a laid back atmosphere and one of the most beautiful beaches in Turkey.You can walk along the promenade and stop for lunch and drinks in one of the many beach bars or watch the paragliders landing on the beach. It is regarded as one of the best places in the world to paraglide due to its unique panoramic views, and the Babadag mountain's exceptional height. Visit the lagoon area which is a national nature reserve and well worth the small entrance fee, it has sunbeds & parasols, showers/toilets and a refreshments area. On one side lie the calm waters of the lagoon, which is peaceful for picnics and relaxing.- on the other side is the warm clear waters of the mediterranean.Boat trips depart from here.The temperatures can be extremely hot during July and August.THE TOWN – Fethiye10 mins drive in the other direction takes you to the wonderful market town of Fethiye. With its Pastpatur area (harbour bazaar) catering for tourists it has plenty of shops/bars and international restaurants that are well worth a visit. Right in the centre of town is the fish/veg market which has incredible bargains for that special barbeque. Alternatively buy your fish and one of the restaurants surrounding the market will create a delicious meal for you for around £2. The market is on every Tuesday in Fethiye. You can take the 12 islands boat trip from the harbour area or a water taxi across to Calis Beach for a change of sceneryHISTORY – Kaya Koy Ghost village10 mins drive through the village of Hisaronu is the aptly named ghost village. The houses here were once occupied by the greeks until the 1920's when they were repatriated back to Greece. The Turkish people refused to live in the properties for the worry of them being cursed and so they have remained empty ever since. Most of the buildings are still standing but in a state of dilapidation. You can walk through the houses in the village up the hill to the church at the top giving you a sense of the scale of the village and what life was like and has splendid views of the landscape or over the back of the lagoon follow the waymarked signs to Oludeniz. We chose Villa Oludeniz Heights for its idyllic location and magnificent views, together with its access to local shops (5 minutes), excellent beaches (15 minutes) and night life (10 minutes). The villa is located in a beautiful part of Turkey one hour from Dalaman airport. As well as local markets and ruins to explore there are many excursions and activities that can be booked locally including paragliding, boat trips, Turkish baths, quad biking, scuba diving, water rafting etc. Please see the photo gallery (it's our daughter paragliding !).Villa Oludeniz Heights is a beautiful privately owned modern villa. Our local management company ensures you get good, immediate and local support. The villa has four bedrooms, all with en-suite and sits within private gardens with a good sized private swimming pool, private parking and private Wi-Fi. The villa enjoys magnificent mountain views and is within easy walking distance of the shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment of Ovacik and Hisaronu. The nearest beach is within 2 km at Oludeniz (Olu Deniz) and is easy and quick to get to on public transport.Public transport runs regularly to nearby Oludeniz and the traditional Turkish town of Fethiye. There is plenty to do and see in this stunning area of Turkey.Villa Oludeniz Heights has 3 levels:The ground level offers a spacious entrance hall with fitted cupboards and access to the marble staircase. The entrance hall leads into a large lounge area that includes luxury décor and wide screen TV and DVD player. Adjacent to this is the dining area that includes a beautifully presented dining suite. The large kitchen is well equipped with the latest appliances including ample cupboard space, oven, hob, microwave, toaster fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron, dishwasher and a water cooler. The second level has 3 double bedrooms - all with en-suite bathrooms and each room has its own balcony. The rooms all have good quality fitted furniture. One room has a double bed and two of the rooms have twin beds.The third level has the master bedroom suite. This bedroom has a spacious walk-in wardrobe which leads through to a large en-suite that has both a shower and a bath. This bedroom has a double bed , table and chairs, dressing table and private balcony overlooking the mountains. The lounge and dining area has large patio doors that open onto the private patio, garden and swimming pool. There is also an external BBQ and high standard garden furniture including outdoor dining set, coffee table garden set with comfortable chairs, sun loungers, sun lounge tables, sun parasols and garden swing chair. The ample swimming pool is surrounded by grass and there is further play space in the front garden. Here the property has its own retaining walls, gate and private parking.Villa Oludeniz Heights is maintained by Orka who will look after the gardens and pool daily, provide a regular cleaning service and will be on call 24/7 should you need them. In addition, our guests can also enjoy access to Club Orka at Orka's hotel in Ovacik, which includes a range of facilities and activities including spa, swimming pool and bar. Ovacik is about 5 minutes walk from Villa Oludeniz Heights and lies on the Dolmus (local bus service) route from Oludeniz to Fethiye. There is a market on Monday and a water park that is open to the public. Restaurants and bars cater for the people who prefer a quieter evening than the hustle and bustle of Hisaronu which is about 15 minutes walk from Villa Oludeniz Heights.Oludeniz remains one of the most photographed beaches on the Mediterranean. It has a secluded sandy bay at the mouth of Oludeniz, on a blue lagoon. The seawater of Oludeniz is famous for its shades of turquoise and aquamarine, while its beach is an official Blue Flag beach, frequently rated among the top 5 beaches in the world by travellers and tourism journals alike.Please note that Villa Oludeniz Heights is a private property which is maintained on a daily basis and supported by our local management company.
