A quaint Victorian apartment get away weekend. The apartment was absolutely PERFECT. Our reservations were for 3 days, but a calender snafu caused us to cut it to 2, Klara & Greg contacted us promptly and were able to change it without too much hassle. They even ensured that we would be able to check in an hour earlier because of the mix-up. Coming back to the apartment after dinner our first night, it was delightful to drive down the street to find the tree in the front of the house was lit from head to toe, beckoning us to this lovely place. The amenities throughout the apartment were appreciated: charging stations at each bedside table, an umbrella at the front door, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower, coffee, fully stocked kitchen. Much appreciated the fresh eggs in the fridge too, we just weren’t up to cooking. The artwork and plants around the apartment were beautiful as well. Made a loving touch throughout. When searching for a place for a weekend, that wasn’t too far from our home, the Yellow Door came up. It was so cute. I will admit, I did no research on the town. We just needed to get away after 2 months of stress from other obligations. Restaurants were only 20-30 minutes away. It was a very relaxing place, we came home recharged. Everything was wonderful. It was pet friendly. We had many of everyday essentials in the property. Wi-Fi allowed me to stream with casting my movies and news. We had a fun time driving around. It is very scenic. We went to a bakery, the art exhibit, and two farmers/homemade goods places. Delicious Strawberry preserves at the farmer's market Saturday. It packed a punch. Very comfortable queen size bed. Newer model washer/dryer are in the apt. Hosts were very helpful and gracious.

Best choice for Salem The apartment is roomy, clean and comfortable, Vrbo hosts are very accommodating. We considered many options and knew that we made the right decision as soon as we walked in. We invited local family over; it rained but the kitchen, living room and dining room were perfect for the evening. Will recommend to family and friends in the future.

Lovely and comfortable home in Salem NY My son and I had the privileged of staying in this beautiful home. There were many lovely details, interesting art, beautifully appointed kitchen, nice amenities in the bathroom etc. A very comfortable cozy place. While there I believe the biggest snow storm of the season happened, owners were wonderful about shoveling us out.
