The Country House is in a quiet suburb of Wellington adjacent to some vineyards. This is a residential home converted to a guest house. There is an open deck in the garden with great views and a pool area. Breakfast was very good and the staff were attentive. Only gripe was the room was a wee bit small, ( typical family bedroom).

A very pleasant, comfortable guesthouse situated in a nice quiet location. We were welcomed by the hostess and staff and immediately made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The rooms were clean and well prepared with comfortable beds and everything we required. We had an excellent home made breakfast out overlooking the Boland mountains. The extra suprise was to find our car had been washed before our departure. We highly recommend this guesthouse and will return.

Highly recommended! Mara and her team are top notch, Beautiful and tranquil setting, rooms are super comfortable, attention to detail and all our needs were catered for. Stunning and delicious breakfast with the best scones ever! Will definitely be going back!

Being owners of an award-winning guesthouse and well-seasoned travellers, we especially appreciate the effort and meticulous attention to detail evident throughout this house. What a beautiful place to have a breakaway at... Home away from home. The setting, food and staff, are all AMAZING. And the hoat, Mara, what an EXTRAORDINARY woman she us. Always hands on, making sure guests are comfortable and feeling at home. Even advised on what to do around Wellington and where to get good food. Gad an AWESOME stay. Will surely visit again.

What a nice place to stay. Mara is a dynamic and wonderful host. Helps with everything. Even helped to plan the best scenic routes to travel and beautiful and nice places to stop. Breakfast was a big treat.

lovely little corner overlooking vineyards Mara's attention to detail and assistance was great. a wealth of advice and assistance very helpful with orientating your stay in wellington (my little dog felt equally comfortable!)

It was a short stay in that wonderful guesthouse. From the first moment we were spoilt from Mara and her asststents. Big cosy room- refreshing pool - beautiful view to vineyards and mountains- an excellent dinner ! We felt very homely and will come back again. Thank you for all!
