The lodge is a somewhat dated motel-like place; my room access was directly from the parking lot. Carpeting was tired, plaster walls in the bath had cracks and holes, and shower mixer valve made it easy to be frozen or scalded. Breakfast was adequate, and it was convenient to the shops in town.

Amazing staff service and breakfast was great it's very quiet at night and with breakfast you get a beautiful view!

Two night getaway in wellsboro was relaxing. The lodge check in was effortless. Room was cozy with fireplace. The furniture was not comfy though. Nice refrigerator and microwave. Bed was clean and super comfy. Bathroom needs a new shower curtain and fan vent was filthy. I would recommend the accommodations. Breakfast was free and a nice setup.

In a roadtrip where we stayed in 7 different hotels, in 7 different cities, this was the worst hotel by far. Hotel room was dirty, outdated, beds were uncomfortable, one of the beds had a hole in the middle im guessing because of the time it’s been there. I would not stay here again, and I don’t recommend it.

The Pennwells lodge was the perfect weekend getaway for my family. All of the staff was super kind, the continental breakfast was very convenient and the perfect start to the day going around the PA Grand canyon. The town of Wellsboro has lots of restaurants and stores within a quarter mile of the lodge.

This hotel is well located and a good base for exploring Wellsboro. The room we had was very simple and dated. It was clean but there were signs of mildew on the ceiling and around windows.
