We stayed here for a night as it is close to the airport. It’s definitely old, but the rooms where nice and spacious for a last night repack, shower and sleep. Comfy big and high bed off the floor. There’s a pool and a restaurant, but we just watched the sunset at the bar on the “beach”.

What you see on the ads is a complete façade! The reality? A dirty pool, neglected grounds, and food that should not see the light of day! Our family vacation was completely RUINED! The management was friendly enough to let us check out early, promising a refund for our unused days. But here I am, 3 months later, still waiting! Mr. Samuel, their so-called smooth-talking manager, has turned out to be a master of deception. His promises? Just smart lies. Don’t fall into this trap! A place full of peace. I love the nature here, the garden, the pool and that the hotel is close to the sea, but you can’t swim in the beach here. The service is perfect, everyone here are so kind and friendly. They are fast when you call for help. The breakfast is good as well, but they don’t have a breakfast buffet, you order what ever you want from the menu. The problem is that there are a lot of insects, especially in ground floor rooms. The hotel is 12 min from stone town.

Zanzibar Beach Resort was amazing. Great staff, clean rooms. The rooms are vintage with unique vanity. I love the outdoor area, especially watching the sunset. Richard, the manager Accomodated all of our needs. The water pressure was low in the shower, but it wasn't a big deal. Food was good. I will be visiting again.

Not as expected, the pictures of the hotel doesn’t reflect the reality , the pool was dirty, we stayed for 4 nights . Apart from the staff to be friendly , they had no understanding on the menu , service or even mis en place . We ordered sea food but the fork and knives arrived after we finished our plates , the ketchup followed after that. The front office manager was very unpleasant and disrespectful… No manager on site during the evening and guests had to justify themselves . I think they require all training from head to toe . Pull up your socks
