Priory Tearooms Burford with Rooms

Came here for breakfast with family, service was quick, staff friendly and the food was good and they quite a few different options for breakfast which we liked. Only issue is the space inside is very small and we felt like we were all sat on top of each other.

Our party of three adults stayed for three nights in two rooms at the Priory Tearooms. We found both rooms to be extremely comfortable (1 x DB + excellent shower in each); being located to the rear of the tearooms they are perfectly shielded from any disturbance that may emanate from the main road, ensuring a restful night of sleep. For us Burford and the Priory Tearooms made an ideal base to explore the Cotswolds and confident we will return to both soon. Not included in our room rate and offered at a discount, we did not take breakfast at the tearooms until the day of departure due to a full agenda. This was a mistake! I do not profess to being an expert, but this was one of the finest English breakfasts this Englishman has enjoyed in his almost 60 years!

We booked our stay as we were dropping out step daughter off at brize RAF base. We had an issue with possibly not coming due to illness but Justin the manager couldn’t have made it any easier for us. We checked in quite late and the whole process was smooth. Rooms was the cleanest I’ve ever experienced, warm cozy and beds so so comfy! Breakfast we were greeted by a lovely member off staff who couldn’t have done more for us, no wonder it was nice and busy! The breakfast choice was right up our street and no issue at all with my fussy requirements 😂 We stay close to prize on a regular basis and this will certainly be our permanent new place.

Googled afternoon tea and found this place. So glad we did. Amazing food, lots of it and brilliant value. Fantastic service. We all loved it. The staff were very attentive and brilliant with my 3 year old grandson. And ‘doggy bag’ boxes provided as we couldn’t eat it all!!

The best sandwich, I have ever eaten! Beautiful fresh bread and a great choice.Good value and service in a stunning, bustling town. Outside seating is available both front and to the back of the restaurant and of course indoors. Whatever the weather, this is a good stop off to prepare you for the hill climb ahead up the high street!

This is exactly what you woukd expect from a cafe in an English Market town. Nice courtyard which was having work done in it when we were there. Cakes were nice enough and the bacon rolls were good. Can't say much more as it was exactly as expected.
