Woof! I’m Rosie, an Irish Setter, and I think it’s only fair that I get to write this review because, let’s be honest, I was treated like a VIP (Very Important Pup)! From the moment I arrived at Highlea Hotel, Scott and Judith made me feel so welcome. Every single day Scott greeted me with a delicious sausage (which I came to expect, naturally), and Judith spoiled me with the most amazing pigs in blankets treats. I wasn’t feeling my best during part of my stay, and they both kept checking on me to make sure I was okay. Their kindness and genuine care meant the world to me—and to my humans too. The highlight of my holiday was my new friend, Basil. We shared some special moments together and he is adorgi-able. I hope we get to meet again someday. My humans wanted me to mention that they absolutely loved their stay as well. They said the breakfasts were scrumptious, with plenty of choice and everything cooked to perfection. They found the hotel comfortable, welcoming and looked after, and they couldn’t have asked for better hosts. As for me? I give Highlea Hotel five enthusiastic tail wags out of five. 🐕 If you’re travelling with your humans (or without them!), this is the place to stay. We all left with happy memories, full tummies, and a promise that we’ll definitely be back. Love and licks, Rosie ❤️🐾

despite very late arrival, the room were carefully prepared, clean and comfortable, equipped with coffee, tea, water and cookies. excellent location and quiet streets were very relaxing and easy to find. Very impressive was care and contact with the host during our Long trip to Weston what made out arrival more pleasant. The hotel is very charming, the host's great personal involvement in the comfort and well-being of guests, even those with limited mobility. delicious and hearty breakfasts served from the heart to the table. a very friendly atmosphere, the joy of welcoming guests, sincerity, trust and exceptional hospitality make this place, the hosts and all employees unique. Thank you Scott!

Very warm welcome and lovely place to stay with our dogs x excellent breakfast and very helpful couple ! Highly recommend a walk to the Captains Table Pub for food and drinks to sit outside on the amazing terrace too!!

Stayed at the highlea last night 25th ,made to feel very welcome by Scott and his wife lovely room close to everything,and breakfast was the best we have had thankyou both so much from Sharon and Brian from room 12,

Excellent place to stay in Weston, location is near everything we needed. Room was lovely and clean, excellent value for money. We will definitely be going back. Owner is super friendly and helpful.

Fabulous little place hosted by the attentive Scott & Judith. The place is Dog friendly( even had Sausage especially cooked for Freddie!) we slept like a log as did the snooring dog! Will definitely return when the beaches become dog friendly again!!

Would highly recommend Highlea guest house Judith & Scott are the perfect Hosts and nothing is to much trouble! Beds are comfortable! Breakfasts are excellent.

Comfortable, dog friendly guest house. Staff very accommodating. Lounge with facilities to eat takeaway food, lots of tea and coffee in the room and lovely biscuits! Beds super comfy. Ideal place to stay while we attended to some sad family business

Amazing hosting from Scott. He couldn’t have done more to accommodate us, including getting my son a birthday balloon as our visit was to celebrate his birthday. Great breakfast, it certainly hit the spot! Comfortable room and bed- my only grumble would be that we couldn’t prop the windows open easily and we like to sleep with the window open. Rooms were a little tired and stud walls meant noise travelled from the other rooms but overall we were comfortable and would be very happy to return. Fantastic location and very easy walk into town centre/beach,
