When the river is low, you can hop across rocks to reach the trail on the other side. If the river is high, you can access the trail head by going into town, behind the outdoor Shakespeare stage next to the Woodstock town offices.............You don’t need a car to come to this Woodstock paradise!  From NewYork City, there is a bus to Woodstock.  The bus stop is about a half mile from the Teahouse, a 10 minute walk.
