We were supposed to occupy one of the cottages. The outside temperature was around 50 degrees. The inside temperature was quite cold. I looked around for a permanently installed heating unit, instead I found a space heater in the middle of the room. I was assured by the owner that the room will be "toasty" in a short time. I didn't stay around long enough to find out. There was also a sign in the bathroom stating that the water in the sink needed to be left running all night so that the pipes don't freeze. We checked out and were given a full refund by the owner.

We were visiting the Shanandoah Valley and decided to stay in a BnB instead of a chain hotel and are very happy that we did. A very comfortable and clean room, thoughtfully accommodated. Newly renovated bathroom. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker and tv. The host, Julie, left notes about the local, small town community. Will absolutely stay here again when next in the neighborhood.

Wonderful location and accommodation. When you think about the alternative of a hotel room these individual cottages are so much more comfortable. Although there were others there we never heard them. Full cooking cottage with all amenities the only thing that would've helped was a dish drainer for washed dishes but I wade due. Very comfortable in every way.

My mom and I visited the inn towards the end of June and simply loved our visit! The Blue Ridge cottage was clean, well- stocked, and cozy. We played multiple games in the Fun Yard and enjoyed the surrounding nature. The inn is located near local shops, wineries, and restaurants. During our stay, we drove into nearby Harrisonburg and enjoyed a winery, lavender farm, and a quaint farmer’s market. The inn owner’s attention to detail left us feeling well-taken care of. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay and visit!

Great property with the best outdoor space for adults and kids! Our kids ran right out to the yard and couldn't wait to get back at the end of the day to play some more. Julie is a great host and we felt right at home. Definitely recommend visiting!

A lovely, cozy room with thoughtful amenities. We were visiting friends with a guest room up steep stairs and a claw foot tub - quaint and historic but a nightmare for us unsteady seniors. We opted for staying elsewhere, and we adored our delightful room in the Spring House.

Our family of four had a nice stay at the Family Farmhouse Inn. The room was very clean and well appointed, and the host was friendly and easy to work with. We especially liked the restaurant and activity recommendations, and the kids had a blast playing with all of the cool outdoor games. Keep up the great work!

Delightful, cozy and super Clean. Beautiful area out back to relax, enjoy a fire pit, and lots of outdoor activities. Such a beautiful area with historic meaning, quaint villages and winning wineries to suit every taste! Not to mention a fabulous intimate playhouse, Theatre Shenandoah .
