This grand hotel is set in an idyllic setting. We loved the environment and enjoyed walking on its grounds. The buffet breakfast has a great variety of food and it's fresh and delicious. This is a hotel to relax in, ideal for a real getaway.

Fantastic hotel, extremely clean and comfortable. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the front desk, and when leaving they extended our check-out time. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to everybody!

Beautiful resort hotle. Meticulously cared garden coveres 70% of the hotel ground. Excllent location. walking distance to "Mei Yuan" park and pedestrain path @ the wetland by the lake. Trees, flowers, forgs, toads, ducks and birds. it's a symphony of nature.
Both morning buffet and formal Chinese restaurant are very good. Full of seasonal ingredients, local delicacies. delicious. We ate all our meals in the hotel during our stay.
Definetely will come back for vacation next time.

Lovely hotel! Very clean and beautiful environment. Breakfast is fantastic, but in the busy season, you should arrive as early as possible for breakfast otherwise you may have a long wait to get in.

It is quite convenient to drive from Shanghai for more than 2 hours. The hotel is in an excellent location facing Taihu Lake. The vegetation coverage area is very large. It is a good place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room is very large and clean. I really like the lacquer boxes in the bathroom and on the desk. There are many details that need to be experienced after checking in. In the afternoon, my husband and I sat on the chairs on the balcony, drinking tea and chatting while watching the sunset. It was really comfortable. I got up early the next day and watched the sunrise. I was very satisfied. I will come again when the plum blossoms bloom next year.
