Hotels in Nanchang Ancient Street, Wuxi

I felt very good staying at the Yaduo Hotel on Changjiang North Road in Wuxi New District. The front desk staff was nice and kind. They helped us check in quickly and helped us solve problems. The staff also contacted us in time for things we forgot, saving unnecessary time and trouble. The hotel is clean and spacious. It is also very convenient to go to where we are going.

Centrally located, it's just steps away from Chong'an Temple Scenic Area and a bustling pedestrian street, yet manages to offer a peaceful sanctuary amidst the urban energy. The surrounding area is well-appointed with amenities, and both subway and bus transportation are incredibly convenient, making it effortless to explore. The customer service staff were warm and efficient, promptly resolving any issues. Our room was spacious and boasted an expansive view, ideal for enjoying Wuxi's city center nightscape. Highly recommended!

I came to Wuxi to see flowers. I want to stay in a hotel in the city with a good location on the last day. I think it's better to stay at the Intercontinental (after all, I feel that at least the service is guaranteed, so I chose this hotel) Room facilities: The washing is made of Berido (the key is that the smell of Berido doesn't seem to be a bit like a glue smell) It feels a little fake. The room is old and old. Forget it. I arranged a room at the edge (personally, I'm a little taboo), but I thought it was too late, so I let it go. I didn't expect that there were more speechless things. The hygiene was really bad. Many places were very dusty... Bed: The bed is probably too old. The packaging or something under the bed has fallen off (you can see it at a glance) Service: Fortunately, the service can be maintained by Intercontinental. It's as good as ever.

Lovely time at Radisson Red Wuxi. The red and black theme looks really cool. Very nice of the staff to do a free upgrade for 1 of the 2 rooms booked as I prefer to be on the same level with my parents. Everything looks new and good. Rui Xiang deluxe studio room feel stuffy and warm at times because of the large glass panels but overall it was ok and manageable. The corridor was rather dark at night which i find it quite scary. Wish that it could be more brightly lit. Hotel is about 10mins walk away from nanchang street. Would definitely stay in Radisson red again when I come to Wuxi again.

Great location, near restaurants, coffee shops, bars and shopping mall. Also the metro is nearby.

I had a fantastic stay at Atour X and would gladly return if I visit Wuxi again. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient—right next to the metro exit—which made getting around the city a breeze. The staff were warm, helpful, and went the extra mile by offering me a complimentary room upgrade upon check-in. My room was spacious, well-maintained, and provided a very comfortable stay. The surrounding neighborhood was vibrant, with plenty of dining options and even a cinema just a short walk away. I was also pleasantly surprised by the breakfast spread; the porridge and coffee were particular highlights. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience that exceeded my expectations.

I had started writing this review but lost it after taking a call, which was frustrating. This time, I decided to forgo our company's contracted hotel, Hotel Nikko, and instead booked the Rocas Hotel. My primary reason was that it's a new hotel with a good reputation. After my stay, I can confidently say I was extremely satisfied. 1. Firstly, the hotel is brand new. The towels and bath towels were spotless. The bathroom featured a bathtub, shower, and a double-basin design, which offered me, as a solo traveler, more choices, and would certainly significantly enhance comfort for couples. The new rooms and modern facilities truly helped me relax. 2. Secondly, the value for money was outstanding. As a new hotel, booking through Ctrip with my Diamond membership offered a better price than our corporate rate at Hotel Nikko. The hotel provided thoughtful touches like welcome fruit, complimentary mini-bar drinks, turndown service, and delightful bedtime desserts. The service was impeccable, and rooms were cleaned promptly and thoroughly. 3. Thirdly, the Western restaurant on the 8th floor provided attentive and professional service, with a beverage selection that truly catered to individual guest preferences. 4. Fourthly, a special mention must go to the hotel's lobby manager. He/she is highly experienced; when front desk staff, perhaps due to the hotel being newly opened, mishandled service situations, the manager skillfully intervened with multiple solutions to resolve issues. His/her professional approach significantly enhanced the service quality and overall guest experience. Truly a rare talent in hotel management. 5. Fifthly, Ctrip's communication with the hotel was also seamless; they were respectful of guest feedback, flexible, and professional, demonstrating significant progress in their service. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Nanchansi Temple and Nanxiang Street, making it perfect for sightseeing, temple visits, enjoying night views, gourmet dining, and river cruises. I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel service is excellent, the room is quite large and clean, the bathroom has no odor and is separated into wet and dry areas. It is quiet and noiseless at night. There are two beds, which is perfect for two adults and two children. The hotel has convenient parking and dining. Xishengyuan is just downstairs, and Nanchang Street is just across the intersection. It is really beautiful at night. Nanchan Temple is nearby, and it is convenient to take a taxi to the surrounding attractions.

Highly recommended! It's an established hotel. While some facilities are a bit dated, I personally find them more functional and pleasant to use compared to those in newly renovated hotels. Upon check-in, we received complimentary peaches. There were 6 in a box, and the two I tried were both rotten inside. I didn't bother complaining. Firstly, they were a free gift, so I didn't feel it was appropriate to make a big fuss. Secondly, while it was an oversight by the hotel, the peaches were rotten internally, making it impossible to detect from the outside. I can only put the blame on those shrewd fruit vendors! Nanchang Street is right outside the hotel, the night market is conveniently located behind it, and the canal runs alongside. This makes it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and enjoying the views. I highly recommend booking a river view room; the scenery is absolutely stunning in the evening. This hotel offers exceptional value for money!

Well located, although it wasnt near any mrt station, walking distance to nanchan temple. Room was large and comfortable. Grateful to staff for suggesting the wonton n xiaolongbao place opposite, amazing find!!
