The toiletries smell amazing, and the soundproofing is top-notch. We could chat at night without worrying about disturbing others. It's truly perfect for a short getaway for women."

"Yangshan is a bit off the beaten path in Wuxi, and this hotel, though not large, offers distant views of the Yangshan peaks. We received a free upgrade to a duplex room, which came with two private soaking tubs, one indoor and one outdoor. We informed the front desk in advance, and they filled them for us – just make sure to ask early! The water was a little hot, so we had to wait a bit before getting in. When filling the tubs, we noticed some bugs around the edges, likely due to the wooden construction, which they said makes it hard to keep them completely clean. The surrounding walls also showed some signs of mold. It would be much better if these issues were addressed. The two small dogs at the front desk are adorable, and the hotel is very pet-friendly with lots of thoughtful pet amenities. Breakfast was plentiful. The Peach Blossom Island scenic area is right next door, and it was lovely to take an early morning stroll there before the crowds, enjoying the peach blossoms in peace. It’s a great place to unwind and clear your head."
