"I absolutely *have* to give a shout-out to Songpin Hotel! This is seriously an underrated gem. The hotel's environment and scenery are breathtaking; the entire place feels like a serene Jiangnan garden – so peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a getaway. We stayed in a standalone villa, and the room was incredibly spacious, fully equipped, and supremely comfortable. With kids, they could easily spend the whole day playing in the room without getting bored. A special commendation goes to the hotel's service. Every single staff member was so friendly and enthusiastic, making us feel right at home. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely choose to stay here again! (We originally planned to stay for just one day, but as soon as we entered the room, we immediately extended our stay for two more days!)"

"The hotel is located a short walk away from the metro. There is also a nice park nearby for running. Unfortunately there are no malls or anything nearby. Lounge had limited variety of food, but the quality was awesome, with lobsters and crayfish. Their cleaner was attentive, placing a whole carton of bottled water in our room when she noticed we drank what was given in our room. Check-in was smooth and fuss-free."

In the evening, you can admire the ancient canal boats and lanterns, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the lively area. Definitely worth another stay."

"I booked the Radisson Hotel in Wuxi on short notice. The front desk called me in advance to send me the hotel location, which was very helpful for me as a visitor from out of town. I checked in very late at night, and the room was quite nice, spacious and clean. I took a shower that night, and in the morning I tried their breakfast, which had a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes. Overall, I had a very good stay, and I would stay here again next time I'm in Wuxi."

"I was very happy with the room; it had a private outdoor hot spring. Although the weather wasn't great, the hotel and surrounding area were very quiet. The room I booked included breakfast and dinner, which was perfect for lazy people who don't want to go out. There were even desserts in the evening! The staff were all very accommodating. We brought two dogs and had no issues at all. There's a little female dog at the hotel who is shy but still loves to be around people. Next time I stay, I plan to try a room on the second floor. 👀"

"The hotel's environment is excellent, with a door leading directly to the back entrance of Lihu Lake. The rooms are very clean and quite spacious, though they don't have a mini-fridge. I booked a Deluxe Twin Room, which was on the side without the lake view, but it was still large and comfortable. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets, as well as the Jinyuan restaurant, were quite good. It was my birthday during my stay, but the hotel didn't acknowledge it at all, which I suppose they hadn't considered. When I asked if there was a birthday gift at the buffet dinner, the restaurant offered me a bowl of noodles, but I declined as I was already full. It's not that I truly needed a gift, but I suggest the hotel could improve its customer care. I've stayed at this hotel many times since 1997, and even dined on a boat here before. They are currently building a third phase, and I hope it continues to get better."

"The facilities and environment are quite complete, and the front desk service was okay. It was very comfortable staying here with children, and the breakfast was rich. The overall service was good, looking forward to our next visit~ A small suggestion: the tissue box could use a cleaning. When I opened the lid to get tissues, I noticed it was a bit dirty inside, but it's not a major issue."
