Hotels in Changping Valley/Ethnic Customs Street, Xiaojin

I booked this hotel early to participate in the Yunjian Huajing cross-country race in Siguniang Mountain. After arriving at the hotel, I found that the large windows facing the street had a really good view. I could see the horses running freely at the intersection and the green hillside. The big brother and sister in charge of hotel management were also very enthusiastic and responded to the requests in a timely manner. It is about 700 to 800 meters away from the cross-country race venue, Siguniang Mountain Outdoor Activities Management Center, which is about 10 minutes' walk, which is acceptable. Overall, it is still a good hotel with good value for money.

Hotel room is moderate, but the best part of the hotel are the staffs. They are eager to provide excellent customer service, promoting a positive, helpful and friendly environment. No surprise why people gave 10/10 feedback. We stayed here for two nights and had three meals at the hotel. The food was also great especially fried rice with eggs. 10-15 minutes walking distance from Changpinggou and siguniangshan transport center whate we bought our bus tickets to Dugiangyan. Strongly recommended!

Pleasant stay. The hotel is located only 5 minutes from Changpinggou and close to shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful, best service they could give. They did not make up the room and changed the towels, but it was okay because we stayed only 2 nights.

The staff is so kind, supportive and helpful. The room is beatuiful, large, comfortable and warm.It is same as the photo provided. Breakfast is great. The staff are willing to help for any problem/request. One of my friends have a headache so they care a lot and bring us the oxygen generator. There is no restaurant nearby the hotel however the staff can give us the suggestion and willing to support for delivery. However, we decide to walk to buy some food to eat at hotel and the staff is arranged the table for us. We love this place a lot.

Our stay here was absolutely worth every penny. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warmth and attentiveness of the entire team. The service truly went above and beyond — every staff member was incredibly friendly, offering great advice on where to visit around Chengdu, and even thoughtfully prepared an oxygen bottle for our trip to the national park. A special highlight was the hotel’s manager personally offering us a car ride to the national park — such an unexpected and generous gesture that made our journey even more comfortable and memorable. On our first night, we enjoyed a delicious hotpot at the hotel, and on the second night, we tried other Chinese dishes — every meal was authentic and absolutely delicious. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a stunning view, making it a perfect place to relax after a full day of exploring. This was without a doubt one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We left with full hearts and amazing memories. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Chengdu — we would love to come back again!

The hotel is located on the 3rd level of the road. It quite difficult to walk especially  if you have a big baggage you must ask a taxi to drop you off at the hotel .however this price is worth if you are solo traveller. The room was clean and big. the staff was very helpful and friendly. she recommend and guide me for the trip in Siguniangzhun and also assisted me to book the van back to Chengdu. Consider to stay this hotel again for next time😊

The hotel is located in a gully. Buses from Chengdu's Chadianzi Bus Station to Changpinggou Town in Siguniang Mountain drop you directly there. A short walk brings you to a charming street full of delicious food and drinks. The hotel has two buildings. The rooms are clean, and the service is excellent. They help you turn on the TV and how to open and close the screens. Two bottles of water are provided. The bathroom has separate wet and dry areas, high-quality paper, and a hair dryer. Hot water is available immediately, and the water is flowing freely and is very comfortable. The bedside tables have creative storage compartments and plenty of electrical outlets. The hotel has its own restaurant. I had yak beef hot pot, but the base was too salty. Even after adding water three times, it was still salty, which affected the taste. Also, when there are many tourists, the morning noise is too noisy, preventing me from getting much sleep.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Slice of Heaven in Xiaojin We stayed at Cloud Inn in Xiaojin County and it was honestly one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. Originally, we planned for just one night… but my friend got altitude sickness (don’t worry — they even have an oxygen machine available!) and we ended up cancelling our next destination just to stay another night. That’s how comfortable and peaceful it felt here. What truly makes this place special are the people. The aunties, the staff, the bosses, and even the two dogs, Hua and Keke — they’re all incredibly kind, respectful, and genuinely warm. From helping us when we arrived, to patiently explaining everything we needed, to just chatting and laughing with us — they made us feel like part of a big family. The hotel also has a café, and as a coffee lover, I’d give it 9/10! The latte was so good, and the vibe is cozy and relaxing — perfect after a long day of mountain air. As Muslim travelers, we mentioned our dietary needs, and the staff were thoughtful and careful to guide us through what we could eat. They even helped us locate a Halal restaurant nearby and arranged a very affordable taxi for us. It made a huge difference in our stay. Also, if you’re planning to visit Shuangqiao Valley (just 8km away), no worries — the hotel helped us book a taxi for about 30 yuan, and the same driver picked us up after. Super smooth and easy. And for those who want something extra special: the bosses are building a gorgeous new branch just 10–15 minutes away, with private pools in every room and a panoramic view of Mount Siguniang. I’ve seen it myself — it’s honestly breathtaking. If you can afford to splurge, this is the place. When it was time to say goodbye… I cried. Like, actual tears. The staff walked us to our van, hugged us, and told us to come again. It felt like leaving family. And I’m not writing this review because they were kind only to me — I’m writing this because this hotel is truly something special. For all of the Cloud Inn family — I will come back soon. Sincerely, Azatul 💛 ⸻ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 小金县的一片天堂 —— 我们原本只打算在小金县的 Cloud Inn 云上客栈 住一晚，但因为朋友高反（别担心，酒店配有吸氧设备），我们最后取消了原本的行程，多留了一晚。真的一点都不后悔，这里太舒服、太温暖了。 这里最特别的地方是人。酒店的阿姨们、工作人员、老板们，还有两只狗狗 Hua 和 Keke，都非常热情、真诚、有耐心。从我们一到达开始，他们就一直照顾我们、陪我们聊天、带我们看风景，真的感觉像家人一样。 酒店里还有一个咖啡馆，作为一个咖啡爱好者，我给这里的拿铁打 9/10 分！味道很好，环境也很放松，适合在山里玩了一整天后慢慢享受。 作为穆斯林旅客，我们在饮食方面有一些限制。我们说明之后，工作人员特别贴心，认真帮我们确认哪些食物我们可以吃，还帮我们联系了附近的清真餐厅，叫了一辆价格非常实惠的出租车。真的太感谢他们了。 如果你计划去双桥沟（距离酒店大约8公里），完全不用担心交通问题，酒店也可以帮你叫出租车，大概30元，而且司机也会按时来接你，非常方便。 还有一个超级惊喜：老板们正在打造一个新分店，大约离现在这家店10–15分钟车程。每个房间都有私人泳池，面向四姑娘山的绝美景色。我亲自去看过，真的太震撼了！如果你想体验更高级的度假感受，那边会是一个非常值得的选择。 当我们离开时……我真的哭了。所有工作人员都送我们到门口，有人给我一个拥抱，还有人站在门边目送我们离开。就像分别的家人一样温暖。写这篇评价不是因为他们对我特别好，而是因为这家酒店真的值得推荐。 致云上客栈的家人们：我一定会回来！请你们保持健康，早点休息，好好睡觉。希望你们的生意像天空一样飞得高高的！ 真诚的，Azatul 💛

The boss sister is so nice👍very nice, very warm and considerate! Information and help are provided from food and sightseeing tours😘House prices are over a hundred yuan, and heating and electric blankets are available. Let me remind everyone that a small restaurant next to the hotel sells butter tea for breakfast for 20 yuan, while the one opposite the hotel only sells it for 10 yuan. Please pay attention‼ ️Go to the restaurant opposite to eat!

We visit this hotel during the winter and it was the best experience ever. The floor heating is great and it makes us warm during the absolute cold in winter. The owner is very friendly and he is familiar with guests. The noodle as a breakfast is great as well. The location of the hotel is close to Changpinggou ticket office and for the Shuangqiaogou, the owner is so willing to call a taxi for us. Best experience! He also offered to drive us to bus stop for free, rather than letting us walk. Best, simply the best!
