The location of the hotel is excellent. In the inner city of Shiva, the main attractions can be seen from the hotel window. You can go back to the hotel to rest at any time during the tour. You can stroll around the ancient city in the morning and evening when there are less people. The hotel facilities are comfortable and the breakfast is rich. We provide paid Urgench airport pick-up service and paid Khiva station drop-off service. You can make an appointment with the hotel by email. The service attitude is very good. I recommend this hotel to friends visiting Khiva. Please note that the hot water in the shower needs to be left for a long time, and there are no toothbrushes or bottled water.

I am very satisfied with the room and the living environment. It is clean, tidy and comfortable. The location is right next to the Fat Tower. It is very convenient to go to various mosques and seminaries. It's just that the breakfast is too simple and there are too few choices.

The equipment management policy for environmental protection is good. I hope other hotels do this too.
The location is within Ichan Qa'la, making it perfect for sightseeing in Ichan Qa'la. As written in other reviews, it was very nice that you could come to the hotel room if you wanted to go to the bathroom while sightseeing.
It is also easy to get to the train station. (Tip! When going to Ichan Kala, ignore the Google map route and just go straight along the garden-like road in front of Khiva Station. Keep going straight and you will see Ichan Kala Alumni.)
The room is really spacious. It's not even a suite, but the bedroom and living room are separated, and each has a private balcony, and each is spacious.
The staff are friendly and can communicate in English and Japanese.

This hotel is not at all as good as most reviews seem to say. It's not terrible, but given that it's much more expensive than the rest, I would say it's a bit disappointing. Khiva is a small tourist place at the end of the world and there is a very limited amount of stuff available there, so you can't expect much from any place there, especially food wise. This review takes this into account. The breakfast is pretty poor, and this is mostly the result of not much diversity available but still a better job could be done with fruits for instance. Note that they charge extra for coffee. We had a large room with a tiny window in a corner, no view. It was noisy, the mattresses weren't comfortable. The bathroom was very tiny. The bathroom was clean but the bedroom could be cleaner. Mopping under the beds for instance would be an improvement. Overall we didn't have a great experience with this hotel.

I actually got in this hotel for chance! I was supposed to stay in an other hotel but I was moved here! I should say extremely good luck! It’s super central, very nice, quiet, excellent staff, breakfast is very good! I hit recommend this hotel for your stay in Khiva

This hotel must have the best location in all of Khiva, in the middle of the Itchen Kala, handy to walk to all the sights and many restaurants, and yet quiet for a good sleep. The view out of our window....wow what an amazing place! Make sure you climb up to the terrace....worth the stair climb to look out over the fairytale city of Khiva! Our bed was comfortable, excellent wifi, good shower, though some may have problems with climbing into a high bath though. Breakfast was traditional with instant coffee that was actually quite nice and Bilol the attendant was very helpful. The choices were varied, with something for all tastes, but it would help if there were signs in English with the food names/descriptions, bit of a taste and see! Water was readily available from dispensers on each floor, which was much appreciated. Stairs only to the upper floor but staff were very helpful with our luggage, thank you :) Highly recommend you stay here.

The Arkanchi Hotel is situated right inside Khiva’s old town and from the rooftop offers absolutely stunning views of this beautiful town. The rooftop was being painted and renovated at the time but guests were still allowed up to enjoy the scenery. The rooms are very large and comfortable but the absolute highlight was the breakfast which was served in the hotel’s courtyard. The staff was also lovely, and the hotel offers transfers to Urgench airport, a very convenient service. Would be happy to return here on another visit.
