We are a family of four. We took a cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. We were able to tour the entire Li River scenery. It was really beautiful. We went directly to the West Street in Yangshuo. We had too much luggage so we took a taxi to our accommodation in Yangshuo. The B&B was located around the West Street, and there were many delicious foods at the door. Then we rented a small electric donkey in the afternoon and went to the Ten-Li Gallery and Yulong River for half a day. We took photos wherever it was beautiful. It was very happy and convenient. Just rent an electric car and you can play for a day (return the car in the afternoon and walk to West Street, because there is no place to park electric cars there, and it is very congested to walk, and it is very difficult to find a parking space). Except for the bamboo rafts on the Yulong River, which you have to buy by yourself, other tickets are much cheaper than the door price when you ask the front desk to buy them. It is also a formal entry. You can also ask the lady to share a car to Guilin North, which saves a lot of trouble. You can ask any questions directly. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk from the homestay to West Street. There are many local street snacks and handicrafts along the way. West Street is too congested and eating around is also expensive. It is better to live near West Street. We came in April during the off-season and had a great time for 4 days.
