Yilan Jiaoxi Township Hotels

The hotel is great, the private hot springs in the room is definitely the biggest selling point here. The hotel staff are very helpful, we requested to change our rooms to higher floor and they helped straight away, so thankful. Enjoyed the bubble water provided on each floor, great choice by the hotel. The only downside is the afternoon tea and supper, it's designed for kids and so understandably with lots of fried food. If the hotel can just add some fruit into the variety, that would be truly great 👍.

The hotel was generally accessible from the jiaoxi train station (about 4-5 mins walk) It’s also very close to the market where you can get food and drinks easily. In terms of amenities, theres a rooftop (outdoor) spa, indoor spa, swimming pool and gym.

Just Sleep in Jiaoxi was the perfect weekend getaway hotel for me and my husband. It’s also kid-friendly as we saw amenities tailored to children. The hot-spring water in the room could have been warmer to our liking but other than that service is fantastic, breakfast food tastes great, location is superb!

This was my first time staying at Prince Hotel in Jiaoxi, and I booked for two nights. At first, when I saw that the room rate was so cheap, I couldn’t help but feel confused and worried that the accommodation standard was not high. But after actually moving in, all my worries disappeared, the living environment here is quite good! The decoration of the room is simple yet practical, and it is warm and comfortable. The room is equipped with a hot spring bathtub, which is very comfortable to take a bath in. The hygiene and cleaning are done very well, which makes people feel at ease. The surrounding area also has a strong atmosphere of life. Once night falls, all kinds of food stalls and restaurants are readily available, so you don't have to worry about not finding food. The transportation is even more convenient. It is less than 10 minutes away from the bus station and the railway station. Whether you want to go to other places for sightseeing or catch a bus back home, it is very convenient! This stay experience exceeded expectations and we will definitely come again next time!

The bathtub is too big, the air conditioner is too cold, the pool is too fun, and the equipment is too new. I advise everyone not to come, otherwise I may not be able to book a room in the future. There is also McDonald's for breakfast, so I am afraid it is not suitable for you.

We thought this hotel has a spa. It does not. You need to walk to the other Gamalan hotel to use their rooftop spa- open only 5-9 pm with only Very hot water- over 44 c - with no signs indicating the temperature level. There is also a third Gamalan in town that we did not have access to- next to the Starbucks. Maybe that one has a spa? The staff was friendly and helpful/ especially the breakfast staff. There is really only Asian breakfast- not Western- but ample with good variety. Our room was nice sized with big windows and a large spa pool in the bathroom. No jets- just for soaking. We ended up going to other hotels for their spas - and founds some nice ones. Just not at our hotel.

A couple stayed for 3 nights at a renovated double room (806). Hot spring available in the room but the shower drainage is bad. Other features are fine (nice auto toilet bowl) with good wifi bandwidth. Cleanliness is low average, with mild dew at bathroom. Free breakfast catered to local and mass type. Limited Western selection, no fried eggs, bacons and pastries. Extremely friendly staff and good location. (Bus stop right in front for access to train and bus transfer station.)

Before we arrived, I emailed the hotel to require assistance from hotel to check for private charter car service for YiLan and the staff was very responsive and helpful. Upon arrival, front desk staff was a little cold (unlike what people mentioned in the reviews). We were swiftly checked in and could go up to the room. Hotel lobby is very cosy and welcoming, but the rooms are starting to look a little old with moulding and wear and tear. Very large, spacious and clean room. If I'm not wrong, the water to fill up the tub is not hot spring water but just normal tap/shower water. If you're looking for a hotel with with hot spring water, do take note. Location of the hotel is great though. We were very near Jiaoxi bus transfer station and managed to walk to our hotel within 5 mins. There are restaurants and fast food, bar, and a shopping area nearby. Jiaoxi hot spring night market (only open on Sundays) is 4mins drive away and Yilan train station was 10mins on foot. Breakfast service was great! Staff were quick to clear and set up tables without making us feel like we were being chased out. They were also very sweet. On our 3rd morning, we needed to leave to rush for our bus to Taoyuan, we were holding our luggages and they directed us to store our luggages with the front desk first. They saw that we were in a rush and told us that we could let them know if we're would like to take along some snacks or drink to accompany us on our trip. They even bid us good bye. Check out process was smooth with an aloof staff. Felt like he couldn't be bothered.

We recently stayed at Wellspring by Silks in Jiaoxi for a short getaway with my 7-year-old child, and it was one of the most relaxing and family-friendly stays we've had in Taiwan. Location: The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Jiaoxi Train Station, making it easy to arrive with a child and luggage. One of the best parts is how close it is to all the great local eateries—from traditional ********* breakfast spots to noodle shops and dessert places, everything is within a short stroll. We loved popping out for quick meals and snacks without planning too much. Even though it's centrally located, the hotel feels like a quiet, relaxing retreat once you're inside. Room: Our room was modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The private in-room hot spring bath was a huge hit—not just for me but also for my 7-year-old. The water temperature was easy to adjust, and it became our daily ritual to soak and relax. Kid-Friendliness: Although the hotel has a stylish, adult-focused vibe, the staff welcomed children. They provided child-sized slippers, which made my little one feel like a VIP guest. The rooftop pool area was also suitable for kids (with supervision), and we spent a lovely day splashing around with mountain views. One thoughtful bonus: even after we checked out, we were still allowed to use the rooftop pool and hot spring facilities. That extra flexibility made a massive difference for us — it meant we could enjoy one more relaxing soak and a bit of pool time before catching our train home. It showed how the hotel goes the extra mile to accommodate families. Facilities: The rooftop infinity pool and hot spring area are just as beautiful as in the photos—peaceful, scenic, and well-maintained. There's also a cozy lounge with complimentary snacks and drinks, which came in handy for quick breaks between activities. Everything felt clean, well-designed, and easy to access, even with a child. Service: The service was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. The front desk staff were helpful with suggestions for nearby places to eat and always greeted my child with a smile. They made us feel welcome from start to finish. Breakfast: Breakfast was a treat for adults and kids — a great mix of Western and ********* options. My 7-year-old especially loved the fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, and mini croissants, while I enjoyed the local touches like sweet potato porridge, scallion pancakes, and handmade soy milk. Overall: Wellspring by Silks is a perfect blend of peaceful luxury and family-friendly comfort. Whether traveling solo, as a couple, or with kids, it's a great spot to unwind and enjoy the best of Jiaoxi's hot spring culture. We're already looking forward to our next visit.
