"Its relatively new hot spring hotel just in the heart of jiaoxi. Reception, rooms, cleanness are on high level. the only thing is they have only 1 tiny elevator which is certainly not enough for such quantity of rooms but they have wide good-looking staircase so wasnt a problem for us. KFC right in the building and all food and massage options just a step distance."

"Wonderful stay for families with younger children. We stayed at the Totoro room located at the second level in a 3-story house which was spotless clean. The kids had so much fun with the slide in the room and with the wide variety of toys downstairs. There are also electric vehicles for the children to play outside. Breakfast was provided with generous portions. The host was very hospitable and kind. Since she was available that day, she offered to bring us around Yilan, which was very much appreciated. Host also prepared toy gifts for the kids. We are impressed and highly recommend this minsu."

A great perk is that your room card grants you direct access to the Star Dream Theater next door, where you can see and interact with small animals. We loved it so much that we went back for another interaction with the animals after breakfast, just before checking out, and it was a lot of fun!"

Kkuai pengThis hotel is quite ok. Although no one will come in to clean during the stay, you can go to the front desk to ask for supplies. The bathroom is also ok.
I read reviews before saying that the sound insulation is not good, but in fact it is not bad. You may also use earplugs to sleep; the transportation is very convenient, it is only a 5-minute walk to the train station, night market and meat soup. The shop selling souvenirs nearby is also good; the staff are also very good. We will introduce delicious food near the night market when you enter the hospital.
P.S. The basement of that building is for commercial property, so single travelers who don’t mind don’t want it, but I haven’t encountered any weird people in the few days I’ve been there, so it should be fine if you notice it.

Our family recently stayed at Jiaoxi Wellsprings Hotel, and it was a wonderful experience for both adults and kids. The combination of modern comfort, private hot springs, and a great location made it an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway.
Location & Convenience
The hotel is centrally located in Jiaoxi, just a short walk from Jiaoxi Train Station and close to local restaurants, night markets, and family-friendly attractions. The convenience of having everything within reach made our trip much easier, especially with kids in tow.
Family-Friendly Rooms & Amenities
We booked a family room, which was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The highlight for us was the private in-room hot spring tub, which allowed us to enjoy the hot springs as a family in a comfortable and private setting. The kids absolutely loved it! The beds were comfortable, and the room had all the necessary amenities, including slippers and yukatas, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Hot Spring Facilities
Apart from the in-room hot spring, the hotel’s rooftop open-air hot spring was a fantastic experience. The view of the surrounding mountains was breathtaking, and the warm mineral water was incredibly soothing after a day of exploring. It’s a must-visit, especially in the evening.
Service & Hospitality
The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating to families. They provided excellent service, from check-in to check-out, and were always happy to offer recommendations for nearby attractions and food options.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast buffet had a good mix of ********* and Western options, catering to both adults and kids. While the selection was decent, we would have liked to see a bit more variety for children. That said, everything was fresh and well-prepared.
Overall Experience
Jiaoxi Wellsprings Hotel is a great choice for families looking to experience Jiaoxi’s hot springs in a comfortable and convenient setting. The private hot spring tubs, spacious rooms, and friendly service made our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely return for another family getaway!

WWangAlthough the hotel isn't right in the city center and is a bit of a distance from the train station, it's wonderfully quiet. The hotel itself is new and clean, and the rooms feature smart controls for lighting, curtains, and more. While the swimming pool isn't large, the water is spotlessly clean, and it's evident that daily maintenance is well-handled. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful; we even received a text message reminder the day before check-in. The complimentary afternoon tea snacks and the 7 PM tofu pudding service in the evening were both very thoughtful touches. The breakfast selection and quality were excellent, truly delicious, and the coffee was good too. All beverages in the mini-fridge were complimentary, and the small cookies were tasty 😋. The room size was just right, the bed was comfortable, and having a hot spring bath on the balcony with good ventilation and an open view made for a truly comfortable stay.

EEuniceWBefore we arrived, I emailed the hotel to require assistance from hotel to check for private charter car service for YiLan and the staff was very responsive and helpful.
Upon arrival, front desk staff was a little cold (unlike what people mentioned in the reviews). We were swiftly checked in and could go up to the room.
Hotel lobby is very cosy and welcoming, but the rooms are starting to look a little old with moulding and wear and tear. Very large, spacious and clean room. If I'm not wrong, the water to fill up the tub is not hot spring water but just normal tap/shower water. If you're looking for a hotel with with hot spring water, do take note.
Location of the hotel is great though. We were very near Jiaoxi bus transfer station and managed to walk to our hotel within 5 mins. There are restaurants and fast food, bar, and a shopping area nearby. Jiaoxi hot spring night market (only open on Sundays) is 4mins drive away and Yilan train station was 10mins on foot.
Breakfast service was great! Staff were quick to clear and set up tables without making us feel like we were being chased out. They were also very sweet. On our 3rd morning, we needed to leave to rush for our bus to Taoyuan, we were holding our luggages and they directed us to store our luggages with the front desk first. They saw that we were in a rush and told us that we could let them know if we're would like to take along some snacks or drink to accompany us on our trip. They even bid us good bye.
Check out process was smooth with an aloof staff. Felt like he couldn't be bothered.

Entering the room, it felt like a Japanese onsen ryokan, with plenty of privacy. While the humidity was high, there was a dehumidifier. The beauty hot spring was perfect for soaking. GGuest UserPleasantly surprised and impressed by the hotel's architectural design and the vast lawn in front of the hotel.
However, with only one receptionist handling the check-in, the process was unbearably slow and took a long time to complete.
Fortunately, when we finally went into our room, we once again were blown away by the spacious room configuration. There were two large beds against the wall, and L-shape sofa couches, with plenty of bay windows surrounding the magnificent room. The bathroom was okay, no Toto. But that’s fine. The gigantic hot spring circling tub was large enough to fit at least four adults. It is equipped with a whirlpool! And there’s a big glass shower room, of course.
The bedding was very comfortable. There are also typical tea and coffee bags with four water bottles and a small fridge. All the expected amenities were provided in the lovely hotel.
Although there are paid afternoon tea facilities at a reasonable price, it didn’t offer to dine for the evening. But I guess it’s understandable since there’re plenty of great restaurants in the JiouSi and Yilan areas.
The breakfast was so so lovely. We’re up late. But the staff did remind us to pick up as much food as we needed before they put them away.
Overall, it’s much better than we expected. We initially thought it might be tacky and exaggerated in its deco. We found this 5-year-old hotel used suitable materials to compose its content. So we liked it and enjoyed it very much. We will come again with our friends. We highly recommend it!
