The hotel is new, but it has too many issues. I stayed for two nights, and the biggest problem was the complete lack of housekeeping!
Photos 1-4 were taken after check-in on the first day. Photos 5-8, taken upon my return on the second day, show that the room was in the exact same state as when I left in the morning.
The bath mat and towels used on the first day were also not replaced. I had to go to the front desk on the 2nd floor myself to ask staff for new ones. There was fallen hair all over the room and bathroom; I simply had to turn a blind eye. The small trash can in the toilet was overflowing and was never emptied.
The worst part was the hair in the bathtub, which, if not cleaned promptly, would cause drainage issues. Honestly, if you have any standards of cleanliness, I strongly advise against booking this hotel.
Location is excellent. Walking distance to Yokohama Station. There is a large supermarket next to the hotel. The reception is on the second floor. The elevator is a bit small for people with large suitcases.
The bathroom is too small and has a steep step to enter the room and bathtub. An elderly person could find this difficult. My mother tipped the edge and fell down.
Amenities can be gathered at the lobby area. Good stuff.
Hotel location supposed to be good as it is adjacent to Yokohama Station. However, there is no direct connection between the hotel and the underground mall, I have to lift 3 heavy luggages from train station level (B2) up the stairs in the Joinus underground mall south exit 12. That alone have killed me. I think the hotel avoid telling customers about this great disadvantage. Even after entering the hotel, the front reception is another tens of stairs down to 1F like a split level building, which was extremely inconvenient! The hotel is like travelling back in time to the 70's, almost antique in today's standard. Room key is not a card type but a physical metal key! Room was still spacious (mine was triple room) but having no modern amenities, not enough power outlet for phone charging and/or computer. No storage or drawers, bathroom was extremely small and crowded. My booking included buffet breakfast, which was a surprise, food selection was good, but there were not many customers, one morning my family virtually was thw only table in the entire grand dining room! I can say I have mixed feeling about this hotel, if you have many luggages and arrived by train, think twice as you have to lift your luggages up 34 stairs from B2 to ground level.
Let me start with the conclusion. Overall, I am very satisfied! The hotel is very new, clean and tidy. The king-size room we chose has a separate bathroom and toilet, which is separated into three parts. The overall area is not large, but it is enough and very comfortable. The hotel is a little far from Yokohama Station. After getting out of the subway, you have to go up a flyover. When you get off the flyover from SOGO, there is no elevator. There is only a slope of about 30 degrees to pull the suitcase, which is a bit strenuous. It is recommended that if you have heavy suitcases, you can take one more stop on the Minato Mirai Line at the entrance of the hotel, and there will be elevators throughout the journey; the hotel has a high floor, good scenery, and a large bath. There is a 7-11 downstairs, and it is in the same building as Yamaha. It is located in the center of the commercial district. The street is very fashionable, a bit like a high-end version of Maetan. It is very convenient for shopping, eating, and walking. I stayed for 3 nights and was reluctant to leave. I will choose it again next time.
I stayed here while traveling for a concert.
The location is within walking distance of Yokohama Station, the room was spacious, and I was able to relax.
I would like to stay here again the next time I visit Yokohama.
If I had to say something, it would have been nice to know the usage status of the large communal bath.
Thank you very much.
Coming out of Yokohama West Exit, Takashimaya, the location is pretty good, there are many restaurants around, but the soundproofing in the room is really poor, the sound of the train is constant, considering the location, it is understandable
I stayed to catch the airport bus.
The bath sauna rest space and facilities are substantial.
However, the accommodation is not suitable for those who are concerned about the noise and sleep in the neighborhood, such as the entrance of the booth is a curtain.
Just get off the elevator to YCAT! The location was great for me.

Hotel clean and nice and located easily outside Kannai station. McDonald's and a few Japanese restaurants nearby. And a convinient store just 10 seconds away. Room is a typical Japanese business hotel small anf functional. Got a few shampoo options at the lobby too. Recommended.
