The room is comfortable and large. A private onsen is a great attraction.
The dinner and breakfast set is normal. Food is normal. Not very surprising, but we got a private room for dinner and breakfast which is nice

Make this the place to stay when you’re in Yufuin! We didn’t expect our room to be so spacious (think of it more as you private little house on the premises) and beautiful, and the service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond for us and helped us with whatever question we had (and even helped us call tourist information centers). The staff member that served us our dinner was especially great! The food was equally amazing. The location is not far from the city although we recommend to come by car as it’s a bit of a walk from the station and up the hill. However even that walk would be worth it. Would definitely book again next time I plan on staying in this area!

Located in a quaint little town which is about 1.5km away from Yufuin Station. Everything was perfect about this little Onsen Hotel/Inn and the food was beyond words could describe!
The only downside was to get to and fro the hotel from Yufuin Station. Taxi will set you back ¥800 per way. Bus will only take you about 750m and you got to walk the rest of the distance upslope to the hotel.
On the day of departure from the hotel, we pre-arranged a taxi to pick my wife and I up at 8.40am for our 9.07am train to Kumamoto and we were only informed that all taxi bookings were full at 8am.
My wife and I had a hasty but tasty breakfast before making our way downslope, onto the Main Street to Yufuin Station. An early morning Route March some would call it. 😂
Thank you Yuhri for giving us the best of your service and the private Onsen was more than perfect too!

Although it's not super close to the main area, you get lots of peace and tranquility in exchange. If you plan to walk to the hotel from the train station, be prepared for a hike uphill. The private bath outside our room was the highlight. The hot springs water is a continuous flow to maintain the temperature at all times, but they also added a cold water tap in case you need to adjust the water temperature. The room and bathroom were extremely spacious. Our breakfast and dinner were included and were eaten in private rooms in the main building. Both meals were delicious.

The hotel room is great and the private onsen is nice.
The hotel staff is friendly.
However, we wanted to borrow the umbrella after check out for few hours when it was raining.
It is not allowed as the staff mentioned it’s for internal use only.

THIS HOTEL ONLY HAVE TEN VILLAS, AND PRIVATE ONSEN. ITS VERY RELAX AND CHILL.
DINNER AND BREAKFAST ARE EAT AT RESTAURAN, IT ALSO HAVE A ROOM FOR DINNING.
STAFFS ARE VERY NICE AND HELPFUL.
I JUST STAY A NIGHT AT HERE, BUT THIS HOTEL WILL BE MY LIST WHEN I TRAVEL AGAIN
