The hotel is slightly over 1km from Kirin Lake and the shopping lane but it offers free bikes for use by guests and cycling to the attractions is a breeze from the hotel. In addition, the hotel offers booking for three of their onsen amenities - open air, semi open air and we xtra hot osen. Guest can book the preferred slot at one of the onsen location and by about 8pm, the hotel will allow guests to book any additional slots at any of their onsens. We managed to have slots for all three of the onsens, each was well maintained and provides you to have privacy of quiet onsens. There is a hotel lounge where you can have free flow of cold and old drinks too...

The location is very convenient - close to the station and the bus terminal. The staff is friendly and polite. The room was clean (it was very small, but it was enough for me, because I was alone), the view from the window was pleasing) Cleaning was done once a day (with replacement of yukata, towels, toiletries and trash removal).
Three onsen - on the 1st, 3rd floors and on the roof. I visited two - on the roof (it is VERY hot, but it was still great! Photo No. 2) and on the 3rd floor (it is also essentially in the open air, not as hot and also great, photos No. 3 and 4). Reservation of the time to visit the onsen was upon check-in (plus from a certain time all onsens worked as public, with free access).

I had a happy time with my daughter using the hot spring on the 3rd floor.
You can take a hot spring while looking at Mt. Yufu,
but I thought it might be visible from outside, so I lowered my body and went into the bath.
I was embarrassed because I didn't know that the room I reserved didn't have a bathroom, but there was a bathroom right next to it, so I didn't feel any inconvenience and had a good time. Anyway, I used the hot spring for a shower in the morning and at night.
Breakfast was just right for women.

The hotel staff on the first day of check-in said that luggage could only be stored after check-out (10:00) until 12 noon, which is only 2 hours. We found this very unreasonable. Later the next day, I guess it was the boss lady who allowed me to store my luggage until 5pm when I came back to pick it up after the tour, which was much more reasonable. There are 2 cute little cats in the hotel.
