入住該酒店時正值“麥德姆”颱風肆虐之時，酒店突然停電、斷網，四周一片漆黑。感覺酒店在應急反應方面尚有差距，例如，樓道應急燈不亮，前台沒有為客人準備蠟燭等照明用品，早餐主、副食缺東少西等等。
滿意方面：該酒店房間環境很好，衞生乾淨，但擺放衞生間裏的毛巾與浴巾在一起，塑封起來（收費），因停電屋子昏暗，並未看清收費標識，造成“意外消費”，建議酒店方面應在客人辦理入住時，明確提示、告之。

這個房間是超級大，衞生間也很寬敞。樓下沒什麼商業，需要走一段距離才有。早餐還可以，有粥，豆漿，油條，米粉什麼的，吃飽沒問題。

去湛江麻章都是住這家。這家房間大，設施及風格和四星商務酒店一樣。住着舒適。樓前後都有停車場，停車方便。適合開車出行入住。有早餐，雖然品種不算豐富，倒也乾淨方便。就是吃飯要走遠一點的路。
