"Our stay was terrible. The air conditioning in our room was broken, so they moved us to a corner room. It was smaller and had poor soundproofing. My child broke their leg at the playground, and the hotel was irresponsible, blaming us for the accident. The staff member who helped us move our luggage for the second room change was visibly annoyed and reluctant. Within 10 minutes in the lobby, two groups of guests were complaining. The hotel management is chaotic and can't handle a large number of guests."

"On the first day, the bathroom drain was clogged when I took a shower at night. I reported it to customer service, and it took them an hour to fix it. The next morning, I went out and didn't return to the hotel until after 3 PM, only to find that my room hadn't been cleaned. I called the front desk, and they first asked if I had activated the 'Do Not Disturb' button. After checking, I replied that I hadn't. Then, the front desk asked if I had pressed the 'Make Up Room' button. I was speechless – isn't room cleaning supposed to be a daily routine? This was the first time I'd heard such an absurd question. I then went down to the front desk myself to sort it out. They said they would arrange for a housekeeper to clean the room, without a single word of apology throughout the entire process. About 10 minutes later, a housekeeper arrived to clean the room. Is this really the service quality of a five-star hotel in Zhanjiang??? I booked the 'Garden Rhyme Family Suite,' no less. Honestly, this stay was a truly terrible experience and very disappointing!"

The downside was the strong smell of smoke in the rooms; I checked into two rooms and the smell was so strong that I eventually had to switch to a non-smoking double room. I suggest the hotel stop using carpets that trap dirt and absorb odors."

The seashells here are beautiful and everywhere; we found so many lovely ones, enough to make some crafts when we get back – it was a real haul!"

The road outside was under construction, and there was always traffic congestion every time I went out or came back. There was also demolition work across the street. Luckily, they changed my room, which faces the school and is quieter."
