Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate

Autumn in Aomori is a season ignited by maple leaves. When the autumn wind blows, the maple leaves all over the mountains are like lively flames, dancing wantonly. From emerald green to golden yellow, and then to warm red, the color gradient of the maple leaves is like a natural painting, layer by layer. There are rich varieties of maple leaves here, such as Acer palmatum and Acer truncatum. The different shapes and colors are intertwined, adding endless layers to the autumn in Aomori.

The local town is filled with a warm atmosphere, which blends with the freshness of the maple leaves. Strolling along the trail and feeling the tranquility and comfort of Aomori's autumn is not only a visual feast, but also a baptism of the soul. Surrounded by maple leaves, leaving an unforgettable memory

Aomori Prefecture has a lot of delicious food 🍎 I went there in February, so the snow was incredible ☃️ Nebuta House Wa Rasse had many actual floats used in the Nebuta Festival! The Sannai-Maruyama Ruins were covered in snow, but the volunteer guides provided free historical tours, which was really great! At Asamushi Onsen, I relaxed by visiting the aquarium and soaking in the hot springs. The dolphin show at the aquarium was fun, with balls flying into the audience, making it a highly recommended spot 🐬 There were so many delicious ciders, juices, and dishes that I really want to visit again! 1st & 2nd photos: Nebuta House Wa Rasse 3rd, 4th & 5th photos: Sannai-Maruyama Ruins 6th & 7th photos: Asamushi Onsen 8th photo: Cider 9th photo: Apple Juice 10th, 11th & 12th photos: Osanai Restaurant 13th & 14th photos: Ajino Sapporo "Onishi" Miso Curry Milk Ramen

A Dazzling Night of Lights, Culture, and Tradition

#traveldiaries #japan #japantrip #aomori #nebuta What I find particularly fascinating about the Nebuta Festival is how it blends art, history, and tradition in such a dynamic way. The artistry of the floats, often handmade by skilled craftsmen over months, showcases the depth of Japanese craftsmanship and storytelling. The festival also invites interaction, with visitors sometimes encouraged to join in the dancing, fostering a sense of unity and celebration. For me, the Nebuta Festival embodies the spirit of Japanese festivals—vibrant, communal, and deeply rooted in tradition. It's an unforgettable experience that highlights Japan’s cultural richness while offering a visually captivating spectacle.

I enjoyed my stay.

I enjoyed my stay.

This Dormy Inn in Aomori has opened for business last July . I happened to stayed there for several nights because its proximity to the train station and the ease of in and out of airport by taking the bus. The room is decent. It has hot spring baths for both sexes. What I like most is their free offerings of use of massage chairs, popsicles, and the most important, freshly squeezed Aomori apple juice. This is the best Dormy Inn I ever stayed. Last but not least, I got good view.
