Fanjing mountain - a dream

We came to climb the mountain just a few days before the Chinese New year holiday and we found that there were not too many people. We stayed near the entrance so that we could just walk to the ticket office once we finished our breakfast. currently the ticket is free if you are Chinese but I had to pay 70 rmb. I think it was half price because of the winter season. we took the cable car up and walked the rest up to the mushroom stone. #celebratewithtrip This popular tourist destination is quite hard to find but worth a visit if you are in the area. The main attraction is two building connected by a bridge on the Mountain top, but the scenery is beautiful. The Park follows the same formula as most attractions in China - bus, cable car, mountain loop. If you were a confident Chinese speaker you might be able to navigate a different route but I was forced to stick to the main path. My research suggested there were some pathways to walk up to the mountain but I found them impossible to find during my trip. Signs say it is possible to find monkeys and beautiful birds. The surrounding towns are pretty sleepy and when I did my trip it was outside the main tourist time so lots of the tourist amenities like buses from the town to the site weren’t open. #celebratewithtrip #fanjingshan
