Chill at Grandmama’s, Trust Grandmama’s

Considering a trip to Mumbai or maybe, there for business trips or back to visit your families? Finding a place to escape from the Monsoon rains? Check out Grandmama’s. A cosy place which offers various photo taking opportunities and yet - quality, affordable food, it is a place that definitely should go into your bucket list when you are at Mumbai. Highly recommend the trash can nacho chips, yes, trash can. You and kids if any, will be in for a pleasant surprise as the cheese flows out from a cab that is rich in cheese. Located close to Juhu beach and mermaid statue, you can also take a stroll if you would like to also check out other parts of Mumbai. It’s also a place with both vegetarian and non vegetarian options, so, suitable for everyone ;)

PAGODA WITH 3 SUB-DOMES.

PAGODA WITH 3 SUB-DOMES.

The Global Vipassana Pagoda is a Meditation dome hall with a capacity to seat around 8,000 Vipassana meditators (the largest such meditation hall in the world) near Gorai, in the north western part of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The Global Vipassana Pagoda is declared as one of the "One of Seven Wonders of Maharashtra" by Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) in partnership with ABP Majha, a Marathi news channel; after they reviewed 350 destinations. The results of this selection were declared on 6th June 2013. The pagoda was inaugurated by Pratibha Patil, then President of India, on 8 February 2009. It is built on donated land on a peninsula between Gorai creek and the Arabian Sea. The pagoda is to serve as a monument of peace and harmony. The Global Vipassana Pagoda has been built out of gratitude to Sayagyi U Ba Khin (1899 - 1971), Vipassana teacher and the first Accountant-General of Independent Burma, who was instrumental in Vipassana returning to India, the country of its origin.

Antilia: Mumbai’s Iconic Luxury Landmark

#favouriteitinerary Antilia, Mumbai’s most extravagant and one of the world’s most expensive private residences, stands tall as a symbol of wealth and opulence. Located on Altamount Road in South Mumbai, this 27-story mansion is owned by Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries. With its futuristic design, Antilia is a marvel of architecture and engineering, featuring a combination of modern and traditional elements. The building’s massive structure includes multiple levels of underground parking, several swimming pools, a health center, a ballroom, and even a snow room—an artificial snowfall experience within the building. Its stunning façade, complete with glass and intricate patterns, makes it a standout against Mumbai’s skyline. While the residence is not open to the public, its sheer size and architectural beauty continue to captivate those who pass by, adding a touch of glamour and sophistication to the city. It’s a remarkable sight to behold and a testament to the growing wealth and luxury in one of the world’s most populous cities.

enjoy great food & support a cause @ Mumbai

#bucketlistreboot Are you someone who is a food lover, keen to try out nice and yummy cuisine? How about being able to dine and also support a cause? At Mirchi and Mime, you will be able to have quality Indian traditional food - green, yellow curry with spices, briyani (somehow with a hint of cheese and done really well), while supporting a restaurant that hires only people with disabilities (hard of speech, hearing, etc). The whole process of ordering is also different (yet simple) and explained carefully by staff on duty (check out their menu where you can find finger gestures). So put this place on your bucket list if you have some time in Mumbai :) Address: Mirchi and Mime Powai Transocean House, Lake Blvd Rd, Hiranandani Gardens, MHADA Colony 19, Powai, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400076, India

Marine Drive: A Stunning View of Mumbai’s Skyline

#favouriteitinerary Marine Drive in Mumbai is an iconic promenade, offering breathtaking views of the city’s skyline. As you stroll along this bustling stretch, the shimmering sea to one side contrasts beautifully with the towering buildings on the other, creating a perfect blend of nature and modernity. The view of the skyline, especially during sunset, is mesmerizing, as the setting sun paints the sky in hues of orange and pink, while the city’s lights start to twinkle. Marine Drive is often called the “Queen’s Necklace” because of the way the streetlights form a glowing curve, resembling a necklace from an aerial view. Whether you’re taking a relaxing walk, enjoying a peaceful moment by the water, or simply admiring the view, Marine Drive offers one of the most unforgettable sights in Mumbai.

Try Quail, Emu, Bunny meat and more …

#bucketlistreboot #indianfood #foodhunt If you are someone always onto the lookout for exotic and nice food, do put this place Absolute Barbecues into your bucket list if you do get a chance to visit Mumbai. Was introduced to this place by friends as they had not only the usual duck and chicken but also BUNNIES and EMU on the menu. Must Try it - taste good though it is full of bones. Also recommend you to have a go at their red hot chilli ice cream as how often do you get to try food like this? Food is also available for vegetarians so definitely a place to consider if you have vegetarians in your dining party.
