Beautiful stuff you can find at Dushu lake 🌅

I always love to go on these photography walks every once in a while. and on this occasion I was at the Dushu lake church. why is it called this? well the answer is simple. because it’s a church that is located right by the Dushu lake. This church is actually located in the egret park right beside Moon Bay Area in Suzhou. the fact that it’s located in a park makes visiting the church very scenic. One other reason why this church is quite popular is because many newly wedded couples come here to take their wedding photos! 💒 🤵‍♂️ 👰‍♀️. it is a really beautiful place and I definitely recommend that you check it out if you’re around the area. #momentsmission #travelinspiration #christmasgiveaway #mapletrees #luxuryhotel #unforgettableexperiences #naturalwonders

| Imperial Kiln Brick Museum|||. Suzhou Museum Tour | Imperial Kiln Brick Museum🧱|||🌟The summer in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai is so hot that there are people everywhere... But here, the museum I want to recommend, not only has a high rate of photos, but also not many people on holidays! 🙌 🏯 The first visit, the spectacular cave kiln amazed me! The real picture is not P, it's beautiful with its own filter! ✨ 🕰 Opening hours: 9:00-17:00 (closed on Monday) 🆓 Free admission! No appointment is required, and even ID cards are not required~ Metro Line 8 "Imperial Kiln" station, direct and convenient! 🤔"The Secret of Gold Bricks" You must be curious, why is it called "Gold Bricks" here? 📝 Two kinds of statements: 1️⃣ The gold brick process is complicated and valuable, so there is a saying "one or two gold bricks". 2️⃣ "Gold" is a homophonic "capital", implying that this brick was transported from Suzhou to the capital, so "Jingzhuan" gradually evolved into "gold brick". 🏞️【Museum Introduction】 This was once the birthplace of gold bricks, showing the firing process of gold bricks, using yellow mud on the banks of Yangcheng Lake. Each gold brick bears the name of the burner and the name of the supervisor, and is customized for the royal palace. There are also their figures in the Forbidden City! 📸【Photo Strategy】 1️⃣ Museum corridor, brick and stone symmetrical beauty plus light and shadow effect, how to shoot how beautiful! 2️⃣ The big chimney and twisted stairs, the vertical composition makes you dominate the circle of friends! 3️⃣ The entrance of the museum, the exterior design is super Feel, a must-see check-in point! 4️⃣ The brick-making process display in the courtyard, the windows and ground composed of tiles, every place is a scenic line! 🌼🌿 How many sisters love to visit museums like me💖📸

The wisteria waterfall in Wangshi Garden is in full bloom!

The wisteria waterfall in Wangshi Garden is in full bloom!

I went there on April 5th, during the Qingming holiday period, and there really were a lot of people. The garden is not very large and can be quickly toured, but it's really great for taking photos. Frame by frame, it embodies the aesthetics of Chinese style. Unfortunately, it turned cloudy at dusk that day and the sun disappeared. I didn't capture the scene of shimmering golden light, I can't imagine how beautiful that must be! I'll have another chance to visit again in the future. I can't help but exclaim once more at the aesthetic discernment of our ancestors! It's absolutely amazing.

【Suzhou W】Marvelous Suite

【Suzhou W】Marvelous Suite

The Marvelous Suite at Suzhou W Hotel faces Jinji Lake, the opposite Niccolo Hotel, and the Ferris wheel under construction, offering a great view. Suzhou W is the only W hotel in China that I haven't checked in yet, mainly due to the inconvenience caused by the lack of an airport in Suzhou. I left home at 7 AM and arrived in Suzhou at 2 PM. During the weekend at the end of the summer vacation, there were too many guests, and people were queuing for breakfast in the elevator lobby. I paid the difference to upgrade to the Marvelous Suite. Due to the excellent view and large room area, other aspects seemed not to be an issue. The green TV wall and moon lamp are standard features of W, and the green acrylic is well-treated without a cheap feel. However, many lacquered items are heavily worn, with many scratches and bumps. Three suite selection strategies: 12 Cool Corner Suite/Studio Suite: A corner suite with a missing corner, the living room faces the city view, and the bedroom faces Jinji Lake, but there are missing corners and obstructions. Both have the same layout; below the 24th floor is the Cool Corner Suite, and above the 25th floor is the Studio Suite. 07 Fantastic Suite: A corner suite, the living room faces the Gate of Suzhou, and you can see the fountain; the bedroom faces Jinji Lake, which is a very good suite. Non-weekend members have a better chance of being upgraded to this room type. 10 Marvelous Suite: Only 5 rooms, on the top five floors, equivalent to two lake-view rooms combined, but the area is a few square meters smaller than the Fantastic Suite. Since it is not a corner suite, both the living room and bedroom face Jinji Lake directly, making it the best view room type. The entrance has a round dining table, and the walk-in closet/bathroom layout is also very good. Only suite vouchers can upgrade to this room type. W does not have an executive lounge, but members can enjoy happy hour in a designated area of the lobby bar, with drinks and some snacks. The Chinese restaurant Su Yan on the 34th floor is also very good, with both a great view and excellent dishes. Overall, I think W is more comfortable to stay in than Niccolo, with less crowded public areas, a more suitable height for lake views, and complete facilities. However, the need to queue for breakfast due to the large number of rooms is a downside.

Chinese Aesthetics·Suzhou Gardens

Chinese Aesthetics·Suzhou Gardens

Location: Suzhou's Humble Administrator's Garden Every step reveals a scene so exquisitely beautiful that it defies description. One cannot help but marvel at the sophisticated aesthetic of the ancients. A gentle breeze wafts through the garden, and the crabapple blossoms sway like little pink bells in the wind. Paired with the garden's framed views, they fill the scene with the colors of spring in the Jiangnan region. Warm spring sunlight is refracted by the lake's surface, Casting shimmering golden reflections on the ancient walls of the garden. In an instant, Suzhou transforms into the poetic and picturesque city of Gusu as depicted in paintings. This is what Li Qingzhao wrote about in her poetry: "I ask the person rolling up the screen, but he says the crabapple remains the same. Do you know, do you know? It should be that the green is plump and the red slender." Pro tip: Be sure to choose a sunny day, the feeling is completely different!

Shantang Street in Suzhou, Jiangnan~

Shantang Street in Suzhou, Jiangnan~

Suzhou's Shantang Street may not be as famous as the Guanqian Street in Suzhou, but it has become very well-known in recent years. It is easily accessible by subway line 2, which takes you directly there. The attractions do not require an entrance fee, and you can pay to take a boat ride if you wish. The area is adorned with lanterns, creating a strong festive atmosphere. The street is lined with various shops offering snacks and trinkets of all kinds. You can eat, walk, and queue at the same time, haha. There are candied haws, grilled skewers, various Suzhou-style pastries, and more, which are a feast for the eyes. The beauty of Shantang Street is like the gentleness of a Jiangnan lady, quiet and peaceful. Sitting by the bridge with a pot of tea🍵 and some pastries is truly leisurely. Here, you can experience the slow life of the city, slow down your pace, and listen to the sounds of Suzhou's storytelling and ballad singing . 'There is heaven above, and Suzhou and Hangzhou below,' and it's absolutely true!

The Exquisite Charm of Jiangnan: Suzhou's Chai Garden

Nestled in the alleys of Suzhou's Shiquan Street lies a hidden gem of a garden, originally the residence of Pan Zengqi during the Qing Dynasty's Daoguang era. It was later purchased and renovated by Chai Anpu during the Guangxu era, hence the name 'Chai Garden'. This 'Chai Garden' features an artfully arranged architecture with serene ponds, ingeniously shaped rocks, ancient pavilions, lush flora, a fitting boat hall, rustic stone bridges, and secluded bamboo paths, all coming together to create a stunningly beautiful landscape. Who wouldn't adore such a lovely garden? Its beauty is universally praised, and it allows us to appreciate the aesthetic essence of Suzhou's gardens and feel their enchantment! The site also features a restored old campus, 'Dongwu University', where visitors can enjoy the experience of being in the same frame as the university. ~No reservation needed, facial recognition entry allowed~ Location: Chai Garden, Gusu District, Suzhou Opening Hours: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
