Introduction

Hot Springs in Tokyo beautifully merges traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern relaxation techniques. Many hot spring facilities are situated in high-rise buildings, offering stunning city views while you soak in mineral-rich waters sourced from deep underground. The geothermal waters, abundant in minerals, are known to relieve stress, improve skin health, and promote overall wellness. Visitors can also enjoy saunas, stone baths, and Japanese-style massages before unwinding in rest areas with matcha tea and traditional sweets. This experience is both a physical retreat and a cultural immersion—highlighting the Japanese appreciation for simplicity, nature, and mindful rituals.

City Hot Springs: Located in central Tokyo, well-known facilities such as Spa LaQua at Tokyo Dome and Heiwajima Onsen offer convenient relaxation—some including airport transfer, ganbanyoku (heated stone sauna), and meal services. Ideal for travelers with tight schedules seeking ease and comfort.

Suburban Hot Springs: Located on the outskirts of Tokyo, these facilities offer spacious bathing areas, family-friendly baths, and dining options. Ideal for family leisure trips seeking an authentic Japanese onsen experience.

Fuji View Hot Springs: Set in the Kawaguchiko and Yamanakako areas, these onsens offer breathtaking views of Mount Fuji across the seasons. Guests can enjoy limited-edition experiences amid lake and mountain scenery.

KADOYA HOTEL, SHINJUKU

#tokyo It is a 3 star hotel which looked old from the outside. But once you enter the hotel lobby, the atmosphere gets a lot better. The location is great, only a few hundred metres away from the Shinjuku station, hence do not be surprised if the room price is a bit steep. Do choose a hotel room with windows as the view outside facing the street would be pleasant. As you can see from the pictures, our hotel room has two big windows and so the room was quite bright during the day. The hotel room is clean, spacious and well kept, so is the bathroom. Lots of convenience stores, restaurants around and so it is very, very convenient. The usual facilities, washer dryer and ice maker are also available. Cafe La Voie is downstairs for quick coffee fix ! #mytripvlog #tripblazers

A Comfortable Stay in the Heart of Shinjuku 🇯🇵

#japantrip Sunroute Plaza Hotel Shinjuku offers a convenient and cozy base for exploring Tokyo. Located just a short walk from Shinjuku Station, it’s ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The rooms, though compact, are clean, well-equipped, and functional. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. While the hotel doesn’t have many frills, the value for the price is excellent. Plus, being in Shinjuku means you’re close to shopping, dining, and entertainment. Overall, Sunroute provides a comfortable, hassle-free experience in one of Tokyo’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. My rating: 4 ⭐️ out of 5!

Wazumi TOKYO

Wazumi TOKYO

Today's lunch ramen goes to "Wazumi TOKYO" in Shinagawa Ward. 100 famous restaurants with tabelog rating of 3.87. I don't come to Shinagawa Ward so much, so I thought it was a chance and arrived at around 11:30. First of all, you shouldn't drive to this shop. The rate of vacant parking lots is low. Waiting for about 6 people upon arrival. Buy a meal ticket first and hand it over. Entered in less than 15 minutes. Donburi less than 5 minutes after sitting down. First of all, soup. A delicious soy sauce with an exquisite taste that is neither thick nor light. The taste is somewhat similar to the rabbit in Shinsen, Shibuya-ku. The noodles are thin noodles straight. It's thin but elastic noodles, and it's delicious because it's well entwined with the soup. Next time I want to eat Trinity ramen. Personal evaluation ★★★★ ☆

Tokyo | A 'Thought-Provoking' Design Coffee Shop.

A design store that completely grows on my aesthetic! Combining coffee, stationery, home goods, and miscellaneous items in one, it integrates a multi-functional exhibition hall and brand studio to create what is called a 'thought-provoking' space — 'Transcend the boundaries of life and work, and think!' Located between Harajuku and Sendagaya, Think of Things is a concept store by the Japanese stationery brand Kokuyo. The store's space is dominated by blue and white, clean and cute, displaying a variety of designer furniture and selected stationery. It's truly a paradise for stationery lovers! The coffee is made from beans roasted by Obscura Coffee Roasters in Sangenjaya. I ordered a hand-drip Costa Rica, which is full of honey aroma and a slight apple-flavored acidity, rich in fragrance. I decisively bought beans to take home! 📍3-62-1 Sendagaya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo (3 minutes walk from Harajuku Station Takeshita Exit) 🕐Business hours: 11:00-19:00 (Closed on Wednesdays)

A Hidden Gem in Omotesando: BE:SIDE

#celebrateit Omotesando is always bustling with people, but if you're looking for a quiet escape, BE:SIDE is the perfect hidden gem. Tucked away from the main streets, this cozy café offers a peaceful retreat with a beautifully designed modern yet traditional Japanese interior that feels warm and inviting. Their kuzumochi (Japanese arrowroot cake) is a must-try! Soft, chewy, and delicately sweet, it pairs perfectly with a cup of tea. The attention to detail in both the presentation and the flavors makes every bite a delight. Whether you're a fan of Japanese sweets or just looking for a relaxing café, BE:SIDE is definitely worth a visit. Why I recommend BE:SIDE: A peaceful hidden spot – Perfect for escaping the crowds of Omotesando. Delicious traditional sweets – Their kuzumochi is a must-try! 📍 Address: 3 Chome-14-6 Jingumae, Shibuya, Tokyo 150-0001 #Japan #Tokyo #Omotesando #HiddenCafe #BE:SIDE #JapaneseSweets
