8bit Melbourne

8bit Melbourne is famous for its burgers and hotdogs. Heard so much about it, I had to try it. I went for the Fatal Fury Hotdog which I dare say is the most interesting (and delicious) hotdog I’ve had in my life. The rather harmless looking jalapeños-packed hotdog was hidden under a generous portion of chilli beef and this bomb of a combo was paired with cheese sauce on a fluffy bun. Man, it had me at first bite. Definitely explains the queue. The burgers seemed like a more popular choice though. Since most of the cafes close before dinner time, you could choose to grab dinner – or even supper – here. 😋 #summervacation#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

Karen’s diner

#celebratewithtrip visited Karen’s diner during my visit in Melbourne. happened to pass by it while I was at Carlton. in fact there are many different outlets located in Melbourne as well as other parts of Australia. the dining concept here is very unique and it’s a very different experience because staff are here to be “rude” to you. so it’s actually quite a funny experience and it’s definitely something to try if you are adventurous. food wise the stuff are not bad. they serve burgers and also wings. I ordered both and both were quite tasty actually. price wise also reasonable. would recommend visiting to try.

The deli’s menu features a variety of sandwiches, each crafted with care and high-quality ingredients. Popular choices include the Tuna Melt and the Truffle Mushie Melt, both of which are crowd favorites. The Hardware Société

The Hardware Société

#australiatrip The Hardware Société, a culinary gem nestled in Melbourne's bustling CBD, is renowned for its innovative French and Spanish-influenced brunch menu that has garnered a cult following both locally and internationally. From the moment you step into its chic, pastel-hued interior, you're greeted by an atmosphere that combines Melbourne's coffee culture with Parisian charm. Signature dishes like the lobster benedict with citrus hollandaise on a black bun or the chorizo baked eggs are not just meals but experiences, executed with a flair that's both comforting and adventurous. The coffee, supplied by Padre, is a testament to Melbourne's coffee obsession, offering robust and aromatic brews that perfectly complement the food. Despite the often lengthy queues, the wait is justified by the quality and creativity of the cuisine, the friendly service, and the overall ambiance that makes The Hardware Société a standout brunch destination.

Rydges Melbourne

#australiatravel "I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Rydges Melbourne. The hotel’s location in the heart of the city’s theatre district was perfect, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport. My room was spacious, clean, and modern, featuring a comfortable bed and a lovely city view. The rooftop pool was a great spot to unwind after a busy day, and the on-site restaurant served excellent food. The staff were attentive and accommodating, making sure my needs were met. While the elevators were a bit slow during peak times, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. I’d happily return."

Cafe Tomi Melbourne

#australiatrip They use Klim roasters coffee beans and a Synesso machine, offering specialty coffee, signature desserts(like Panna Cotta) and some pastries. When I visited, I was really impressed by thier cups. Looks so cute and cool! According to the barista, these cups are from china:) I had a Flat white with Klim roasters house blend and a single origin Filter coffee. The Flat white was perfect temperture with silky milk foam and was delicious. The second coffee had peach and oolong tea nuances with a juicy profile that was so easy to drink. I think it pairs especially well with Ice!! Located at 11 Wreckyn St, North Melbourne. #foodie #food

madmex

#celebratewithtrip had the chance to try mad mex when I was in Melbourne Victoria. mad mex sells Mexican food of course at quite affordable prices. it is like a fast food restaurant. so there’s burritos , tacos , quesadillas and some sides available in stores. it works quite simply where you choose the main that you want. as well as the ingredients and fillings you would like to include in your main. I opted for the burrito and it was actually quite worth because when you add up all the sides , the burrito can actually be quite huge and filling after that. it was sufficient for 2 pax actually if you’re not a big eater. taste wise was ok as well.
