Wake up to the first rays of sunshine in the morning and enjoy a cocktail in the evening with the sunset. This is what a vacation should be like. 🛏️Ultimate rooms The rooms are the perfect combination of luxury and comfort. The imported mattress is just the right firmness, and the high-end bedding is skin-friendly and breathable. The furniture in the room is carefully selected and full of design. The bathroom is dry and wet separated, with a large bathtub for you to relax in, and a thoughtful aromatherapy to set the mood. 🍽️Gourmet food The restaurant's dishes are impeccable from presentation to taste. Local specialties are transformed into stunning dishes by the chef's magic. The freshly baked croissants for breakfast are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, paired with rich coffee to start the day off right. The 5-Seenweg (Five Lakes Walk) in Zermatt is one of the most famous hiking trails in the Swiss Alps. The trail spans approximately 9 kilometers and is suitable for families and intermediate hikers. The route connects five alpine lakes: Stellisee, Grindjisee, Grünsee, Moosjisee, and Leisee. Along the way, hikers can enjoy stunning reflections of the Matterhorn and diverse natural landscapes, including meadows, forests, and rocky terrains. Known for its breathtaking scenery, fresh air, and alpine environment, this trail is a must-visit for exploring Zermatt and experiencing the natural beauty of Switzerland.

Breathtaking Sunset View at Matterhorn!

I am really lucky enough to observe the sunset with Matterhorn even during the winter time 😱😱 Checked one of my travel list! Getting here - It is very easy to get to the top to catch the view. Simply take a one way / round trip from Zermatt station to Gornergrat which cost around CHF 48 with Half Fare Card. The ride takes around 40 minutes with spectacular view around along the ride!

Restaurant La Ferme 📍Hofmattstrasse 38, 3920 Zermatt, Switzerland Before visiting Zermatt, I didn’t have high expectations for the food there, but this restaurant’s flavors and atmosphere were truly praiseworthy. The Christmas vibe was absolutely amazing. When I visited, it was snow season, and there were still many people skiing. The restaurant was a bit hard to find. After making a reservation in advance, I went around 7-8 pm. At first, it wasn’t very crowded, but later more guests arrived one after another, with a mix of English and German speakers from various places. Since the restaurant is located in a hotel, it has a great ambiance. With candles, warm yellow lighting, red tablecloths, and Christmas decorations, the atmosphere is perfect for couples and families alike. Braised Beef with Fries This dish had a very German style. The beef was slightly on the tougher side, but the fries were quite good! Salad Very refreshing, with a unique dressing that was a delightful balance of sweet and sour. Baked Shrimp This was quite special. The shrimp weren’t large, but they were tender, fresh, and flavorful without being greasy or fishy—a standout dish! Fish with Salad I can’t recall what type of fish it was, but it was very fresh, with a nice chewy texture and a light flavor. #magicalxmastrip #zermatt
